Joanna Murphy: Hi, I’m Joanna Murphy. I’m a New Balance Boston athlete and CoachUp coach.
And these are running form drills.
With the running form drills, we’re taking snippets of the running gait, and we’re priming those
Movements so the body can be efficient through the running gait.
So these drills are snippets of the running form. We’re gonna start with an A skip, which is bringing the knee to a 90 degree angle, and we’re gonna skip through this motion.
And the second drill is a B skip, which is starting at 90 degrees, and then extending the knee outward.
Both of these drills are a great way to prime the body, to be efficient through the running gait.
