Fielding Ground Balls
Transcription: "Hi, my name is Clint Chalk I’m a former college baseball player and CoachUp coach. And this is the ground ball. Fielding a ground ball is important, because it’s the essential part of the defensive side of the game. When fielding a ground ball, it’s important to get yourself in a comfortable position. The ball is going to be delivered to the plate and you’re gonna have what’s called a right-left creep. Your arms will be bent about 90 degrees, and as that ball is hit to you, you’re gonna set yourself up on the outside half of it, and that right-left creep action, you’re gonna get your momentum going through the baseball to your target."
