Lower Body Work Out

Many people do not realize is that yoga is great body weight training that strengthens and tones even your largest muscle groups in your body. As much as I love traditional squats and lunges, yoga has made me functionally stronger without free weights and machines. You may be surprised at how challenging yoga can be, even for the most dedicated gym goer! Check out this quick flow to strengthen your lower body that we filmed right here at CoachUp Headquarters. Incorporate these body weight strengthening exercises into your weekly routine – no equipment necessary!

Check out the work out broken down below. Hold each pose for 5-8 breathes – the longer your holds, the more you will fire up your lower body.
