Transcription: “Hi, I’m Vasili Uspensky, former VCU goalkeeper and CoachUp coach — and this is the goal kick. This is Patrick, Patrick is fighting for a spot on his varsity team, and today we’re gonna work on the goal kick. The goal kick is a mid to long range form of distribution to your midfielders. As you approach the ball, you want to plant your opposite foot slightly ahead. You want to hit on the laces of your boots and keep your ankle locked. Cock your shooting leg back, and hit the ball right through the center.”
