Former Ugandan National Team player and CoachUp coach, Adrian Kawuba demonstrates how to do the step over. The step-over can be utilized to separate yourself from a defender so you can shoot the ball- just roll the ball, get your opposite leg over the front of the ball, and use your other foot to drive away.

Soccer Dribbling Tips: The Step Over What’s up guys. My name is Adrian. I’m a former Ugandan National Team player and CoachUp coach. And this, is a roll step. The roll step is another great move you can use to separate yourself from a defender so that you can shoot the ball. The first step is to roll the ball. Get the opposite leg to go over the front of the ball. Use the other foot and drive away.
