NFL Divisional Round + CoachUp Contest!

NFL Divisional Round + CoachUp Contest!

We’re back! Last week’s Wildcard Weekend Pick’Em was such a massive success, we’ve decided to bring it back again. With the many injury questions surrounding the eight teams left, it’s anybody’s guess as to who will survive and advance this weekend. By now, you know the rules: hit us up on Facebook or Instagram with your four picks and if you get them all right, we’ll shoot you a $10 CoachUp credit for you next session!

WHO YA GOT? NFL DIVISIONAL ROUND EDITION

New England Patriots vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 4PM, Saturday
CoachUp is majorly invested in this week’s game because of our friend, Julian, who is finally back and at full strength as the Patriots begin their defense of the trophy! However, with the injury bug hitting the Patriots hard (Dion Lewis, Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, literally everybody else on their roster, etc) they’ll certainly have their hands full with the Chiefs. After dismantling the Houston Texans last week, they’ll be up against stiffer competition, surely, but they’ll be riding high.

Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals, 8PM, Saturday
The Arizona Cardinals, one of the NFL’s powerhouses in 2015-2016, will get a rematch with the Green Bay Packers, a team they absolutely embarrassed a few weeks ago to the tune of 38-8. Again, it’s tough to bet against Aaron Rodgers, but without a steady offensive line and Jordy Nelson, the Packers have struggled. However, since that Week 16 loss, the Cardinals lost Tyrann Mathieu and Alex Okafor, so things may be a little easier for the reigning MVP. If David Johnson stays hot, however, the Cardinals will have a great shot at making it to the NFC Championship.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Carolina Panthers, 1PM, Sunday
Oh, yes, we’re very excited about this game. Cam, Russ, Marshawn, Doug, Norman, Sherman, and the rest of those terrifying defenses should make this the game of the weekend. Although the Panthers had an admittedly easy schedule this season, they’ve weather the storm on the back of likely-MVP Cam Newton. After Blair Walsh missed a gimme to win for the Vikings, the Seahawks will feel thankful to play this weekend. They’ve run the playoff gauntlet before, so they’ll be ready for anything the Panthers throw at them — don’t miss this game!

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Broncos, 4PM, Sunday
OK — yes, Big Ben has one arm and Antonio Brown is officially OUT with a concussion, but haven’t you learned to not count out Tomlin & Company? The Steelers won a thriller the last time they played, but the Broncos should have a mostly healthy Peyton Manning back and behind the ball. This game will likely come down to a few match-ups, obviously: can Ben outgun Manning on a hurt arm? Can Martavis Bryant step up in Brown’s absence? Is the Denver defense elite enough to stop a potent Steelers offense? So, for the second week in a row:
