Opposite Field Hitting

Opposite Field Hitting

Transcription: “Hi, my name is Clint Chalk. I’m a former college baseball player and CoachUp coach — and this is opposite field hitting. It’s important to hit the ball hard to the opposite field because it requires discipline in the hitter. Hitting the baseball to the opposite side of the field requires discipline in the hitter. You’re going to allow that ball to travel, get deep in the zone, and you are gonna attack this pitch like any other pitch. You are going to fire those hands down, swing down the baseball, same rotation in the feet, hit the inside half of the baseball while elevating up through it, and throwing that ball opposite field to the outfield.”
