Transcription: Hi, my name is Clint Chalk. I’m a former college baseball player and CoachUp coach — and this is the pop-up slide. It’s important to learn proper sliding technique, to beat the tag, and prevent injury. When sliding feet first into a base, it’s important to have both hands off the ground, and your head away from the throw. You don’t wanna get hit in the side of the face with the ball. So your momentum is gonna take you into the bag. As it does, you’re gonna be able to lift yourself off the ground with your back leg.”
