More About Coach Lawrence
Coach Lo
For the past four years, I’ve been dedicated to one-on-one training, helping athletes from middle school to the NFL reach their full potential. Whether you’re a middle schooler aiming to build a strong foundation, a high school player looking to make an impact, or a college or NFL athlete striving for peak performance, my training is designed to elevate your game.
My coaching career began at Cass Tech High School, where I served as the defensive line coach. In my first season, I played a crucial role in leading the team to the State Semifinals and setting the stage for future triumphs. I continued to develop players who went on to shine at Division I universities.
In 2023, I returned to Southfield A&T High School, my alma mater, as the defensive line coach. I contributed to the team’s historic first state championship win and helped players secure scholarships at both Division I and II levels.
Now, as I embark on a new chapter at Brother Rice High School as the defensive line coach, I’m excited to bring my experience and expertise to a new generation of athletes. Training with me means working with someone who understands what it takes to succeed at every level of the game and is committed to helping you surpass your full potential.
My football journey began at the age of 7, where I cultivated a passion for the game in little league. I went on to excel at Southfield High School, graduating with honors while leaving a lasting legacy on and off the field. As a senior, I was honored to be named to the Detroit News Blue Chip List and the Detroit Free Press All-State Dream Team. Additionally, I earned the privilege of competing in the prestigious 2014 Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.
My dedication and performance on the field earned me over 30 offers from top collegiate programs across the nation. Ultimately, I chose to continue my athletic and academic journey at the University of Michigan, where I was a four-year letterman (2014–2019). During my career as a Wolverine, I appeared in 27 games, making an impact at both Defensive Tackle and Defensive End.
Following my collegiate career, I took the next step in my football journey with the Chicago Bears, gaining valuable experience at the professional level.

Khrystle (CoachUp client)
Coach Lawrence pushed my son harder than he’s been pushed before, and still on the way home he said “I love my trainer! He’s the best, when can I go back?!”. Coach Lawrence really does a great job connecting with the kids, and works with them, teaches them and encourages them to be better. I loved that he would make my son run drills again that he was lazy with the first time. We will be booking again, and again… and again!
Marvin (CoachUp client)
Good work with coach Lo.
Nicholas (CoachUp client)
Coach Lawrence is an amazing coach! He is coaching my seven year old. Day one he connected with my son! He knows how to relate and make it fun for them while getting the most out of the athlete. Very detail oriented. My son loves the fact that Coach Lawrence doesn't just blow the whistle and bark orders, he gets in there with the athlete and trains with them! Very personable, accommodating, and truly athlete improvement focused! Would highly recommend training with Coach Lawrence. I have already been spreading the word with the rest of my son's team. My son is a die hard Notre Dame fan and he said during the drive home that Coach Lawrence is the only Michigan player that he likes!!
Hector (CoachUp client)
