More About Coach Tiffany
I have been running long distance for about 20 years now. I started running as a teenager and compete competitively still to this day. I run a Track & Field and Cross Country Program for a non profit for inner city kids, while living in Boston for the past 9 years. I also coach long distance at a Private High School. I can coach anyone who is willing and able to put in the work.
I used to run for the New Balance Boston Club team from 2011 till 2015. I have managed to run 2 marathon in 2 1/2 months and managed to finish both in under 3:20:00, only to turn around a month later and run a half marathon and finish top 20 for overall female. My specialty is the 5k on the road and will eat up anyone who is around me in the second half of the race. I usually finish in the top 5 for overall female and top 1% overall. I am determined to prove that anyone who runs under me will be a better runner than what they were yesterday. With my love and knowledge for the sport, there will be no way that you could fail.
The session will start off with a warm up, then we will move on to stretching for 10-15 minutes and follows by drills :high knees, butt kick, bounding for height/distance, etc. We will then go for a run together, depending on how many miles you are capable of at the time. If we are not running on the road then we are either at the track doing speed work or some type of speed on the roads ie fartlex, tempo run, hills.... In the midst of some of the speed work (if at the track) we will work on core strength, pylometric drills, resistant band training or some sort of cross training. We will end each session with a proper cool down.
