More About Coach Tiana
I have 20 years experience with the sport of Track and Field and have coached at the collegiate level for the past 8 years (NCAA Division I and II). I have worked with a wide range of athletes from high school to elite and post-collegiate athletes. I am certified through the USATF and the USTFCCCA. I have a Jumps Specialist Certification, as well as am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach for track and field and a NSCA CSCS.
I competed at Boston College in the Heptathlon and earned NCAA All-American honors. New England Heptathlon Record holder and ECAC Pentathlon Champion. 2 time ACC Heptathlon/ Pentathlon Runner Up.
I am available for track and field specific training (including hurdles, javelin, high jump, long jump, pole vault, triple jump) as well as strength and conditioning, speed and agility training, or general fitness. I also have experience with strength and conditioning with a variety of sports including MMA. Depending on your goals (whether it is for a specific competition or just to learn a skill) I would tailor the training to you. A general session may include technique work, plyometrics, energy system training, mechanics, mobility, or general core training and conditioning.

My daughter loves coach Tiana because she is personable and she is a great javelin coach. She breaks down and explains each step of the javelin sequence in a way that my 14-year-old can understand. She also understands the unique biomechanics of the female athlete and teaches my daughter techniques that utilize her strengths. We feel blessed to have met her and will definitely book her for future lessons.

My 2 kids have had several successful training sessions with Coach Tiana. They both really like working with her and are improving their technique in multiple events. My son is working with her on throws and my daughter is working on hurdles, throws and jumps. We highly recommend her.

My son is new to the triple and long jump as a high school athlete . Jumps coaches are not easy to come by . Coach Tiana’s technical knowledge is only surpassed by her patience. My sons improvements have been incredible. Thank you again coach...

I am a Master's athlete, competing in the 75 age group throughout Florida. The javelin is a complex event and difficult to learn. It is easy to make mistakes and hard to see them when training on your own. I selected Coach Tiana because she has eight years of javelin and shot put coaching at the college level. For me, it was a long drive to meet her but well worth the time. She is very knowledgeable about both events and, after a 90-minute session, she helped me correct many of the mistakes I have been making in the javelin and the shot put. It was a great experience and I would recommend her to any athlete who wants to learn, or fine-tune, their javelin or shot put event.
