Coach Mike was a really great coach. After only one session, my son already looks like a new level swimmer. Look forward to book a new lesson...

Great guy and excellent coach. Immediately recognized what I was doing wrong and gave me clear instructions on how to correct it in a positive manner. Very happy with the lesson and would highly recommend Michael to anyone.

Excellent Coach. Michale’s attention to detail regarding my sons mechanics were immediately helpful. His coaching demeanor made my son comfortable from the start and was thought provoking helping him to develop a deeper understanding of what he was asking of him and why. I especially like the small written “homework” assignment helping to reinforce some of the technical aspects that were addressed during the session. Top rate coach!

My son really enjoyed the Michael’s approach, they worked on all strokes. Recommend for personal coaching! 👍

Coach Michael is pretty knowledgeable and experienced. He was able to identify my daughter weakness in her swimming technique and what she needs to work on. He spends time explaining and ensuring she gets it. She is pretty excited and ready to try out the tips in her next swim meet

You’d think parents of young athletes would put as much time and energy (if not more) into finding the right coach as they devote to buying a new car or choosing a vacation destination. But few parents do. They just pick coaches near them.

My son is a full-time student. He is a competitive swimmer but we want him to thrive as a child and enjoy things most children do. It avoids peaking early, it avoids learning plateau and avoids burnout- specially if the plan is longevity in the sport. This meant we DO NOT have the time to spend on a coach who IS NOT the best in his field. It takes a lot of work to find a specialist who has the best shot at producing the results you want. Once you have narrowed the list to a name or two, take a closer look at each of their qualifications and training. That matters, because anyone can call himself a coach.
Results do not have to be interpreted because their significance is obvious.

We picked Mike because of his achievements in the breaststroke, and after working with him in a couple of sessions, he earned our confidence in his ability to help my son achieve his stroke-specific goals.

For us the goal is - to meet the national time standards in my son’s age group to qualify for USA Swimming's national meets in 2020. Once he makes it on the National meets, the next goal is to WIN them!

With the RIGHT COACH my son can swim forward with a firm, steady stroke knowing with a deep, certain inner faith that with the right training he will reach every goal he set for himself, that he will achieve every aim.

Will update this review once we make it on the National meets.

Coach Mike is fantastic, very positive approach and asks a lot of probing questions to ensure the instruction he's providing is really sinking in.

Exceptional coach and in depth knowledge and experience of swimming. Provides great evaluation and improvements and instruction.

My son's lesson with Coach Michael's was excellent. Great technique evaluation in all four strokes which helped my son immediately. Practicing his advice with my son's club team everyday and I am looking forward to our next meeting with Coach Michael.

Coach Michael was very helpful with my problems with technique. He gave me drills and useful tips. I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve, and I will be continuing my training with him.

Coach Micheal was a great coach! My first session this past Sunday was so resourceful, and I learned so much already in just one training session! Super helpful and efficient with how he teaches specific techniques. Great Coach! Would recommend!

Coach Michael is an extremely patient coach who has in-depth knowledge of technique of all strokes, allowing any level of a swimmer to attain new knowledge every session. His experience lends to how well he teaches, understanding why a swimmer may not be able to perform a certain technique or why it might be challenging and offers solutions to those problems. Michael is a fantastic coach that all athletes will appreciate and definitely will benefit from.

Coach Michael is excellent, not only he taught my niece techniques that she had never know, but also gave us a honest and valuable opinion toward to her training direction. Thanks Michael

We loved Coach Mike! He was of course very knowledgeable, but he had an easy, laid back style and was not at all intimidating. My son thought he was really cool and could relate to him well. I loved how hands-on he was - he was in the water demonstrating and watching from underwater when my son swam as well as above water, to be able to critique from every angle. I feel like it was very worthwhile and that he was spot on in identifying areas for improvement. We will definitely be back for more!

Michael is an excellent coach, he is very professional, and easy to approach. My daughter loves the way he explains and corrects her techniques. He really cares about his students, he makes sure that they recap what they learn, and practice the technical aspects daily during swim practice.

In the first session, he observed my daughter’s technique very meticulously and gave her instant positive feedback and great training tips. In an hour, she learned more technique than in all these years she's been swimming. Coach Mike is a great inspiration and a role model for my daughter!

Without hesitation, I will highly recommend Coach Mike to those swimmers who really want to improve their technique and speed.

Coach Michael is a great coach. After one session with him, he helped to correct some mistakes for my kids. His training and technique are excellent. I would recommend Coach Michael to anyone.

Coach Mike is beyond awesome. He spent quality time in the water the entire lesson for my daughter to watch and observe the proper techniques for turns and strokes. His attention to detail and patience and connection to making my daughter felt heard by him was invaluable.

Coach Michael really helped identify my 11 yr son's technique difficulties and came up with a plan to help my son. He has a novel approach which is different from the many coaches we have encountered. During our first session my son seemed to better understand the stroke and felt he improved.

Top notch coach. Mike's approach is very unique and highly professional. His instructions are clear and understandable by my 10 y.o. son. He identified mistakes in swimming technique and focused on their correction. 1 hour of strict training. No games but no intimidation either. My son enjoyed his first session with Mike and we are looking forward for the next one.

Coach Michael is really an amazing coach. My 12 year old son learnt a lot in a few sessions. Coach Michael gave him a lot of attention and very clear explanation on the strokes and turns. He analyzed his technique very thoroughly, even under water! Scheduling the sessions was extremely easy, and communication was excellent.
I HIGHLY recommend coach Michael.

Coach Mike is an excellent coach who clearly demonstrates and transfers his experience and knowledge on to clients.

PATIENCE: no matter your level, Coach Mike has the eye and temperament to get a client through to their goals.
EXPERTISE: with his experience, Coach Mike has a mix of exercises and drills that will lay the foundation of what you’re trying to achieve. The relationship you develop will evolve as your conditioning does.
GOAL SETTING: this is the reason we’re all here, and Coach Mike is very skilled out laying out a vision and plan on how to get there.

Coach Michel was great
He gave to me all attention necessary to improve my style ... I had a good training day !!!

Coach Michael was amazing! My son had a wonderful time working with him. He made huge improvements after just one session!

Coach Michael helped me improve my stroke and dropped my times in just two sessions. He jumps into the water at times during a lesson and demonstrates certain drills I can use to make my stroke stronger. After every lesson he tells me to write a swim journal in which he revises. Before a meet he reminded me about the things I have to work on. He is a great coach.

Michael was a complete inspiration for my daughter. After she got over the fact that she was in the pool with an Olympian, she focused on her own strokes. Michael was easy to talk to and willing to help in every aspect. We are going to continue working with him while she also works on her club team. Thanks Michael!!!

We are very happy with the lessons . Michael has very good attention to details on every stroke including flip turn and the start . He gets into the water to observe my daughter's strokes . He helps her with strategies . I would recommend him to anyone .

In just two sessions Coach Michael has had a great impact on my son. He is super personable and calm, and extremely efficient. He also has given my son some extremely useful tips. My son cannot wait for his next session!

My son's first session with Coach Mike was awesome. Coach Mike's careful analysis of all 4 strokes, his instant feedback on technique, and his clear instructions for improvement should make it easy for my son to drop time and improve his skill in the pool. Coach Mike requested my son write up all he's learned today and email Coach after each session. Great follow up! I'm impressed and looking forward to our next session.

I've had a few sessions with Mike, and plan to have many more. It was money very well spent; I've never been disappointed. He has the rare coaching ability to develop sessions that meet your skill level, but also comfortably encourage you to improve. Mike has the technical expertise to identify exactly what needs work and teaches you tailored exercises to improve. He doesn't waste any time in the session; every minute you're doing an activity to improve as a swimmer. I really appreciate that. You can tell he wants to make sure you're getting your money's worth and are highly satisfied with the session. When investing in private sessions of any type, my philosophy is to pay for the best because your long-term return is greater. I've learned a great deal from the sessions I can apply to my swim work outs years from now. I highly recommend Mike.

coach Michael was excellent.

We are very happy with the results of our grandson's first session with coach Michael A. In one hour, coach Michael obtained more results with our grandson than over a half-dozen sessions with various swimming instructors last summer. For the first time ever, our grandson, Jacob, said that he enjoyed a swimming lesson. Jacob's mother, who witnessed the session also was highly pleased (she is a very proficient swimmer). We had been apprehensive before the session that perhaps Jacob was at too low a proficiency level for a coach of the caliber of Michael. He soon put our fears to rest. We also worried that Jacob might not respond to a high-caliber coach - but that was soon put to rest when we saw Jacob quickly going into good swimming form - responding to Michael's instruction. This is just what we wanted - a no nonsense swimming session. Michael certainly is a good motivator. This is money well spent.

Michael is a great coach and very nice guy, highly recommended. He responded quickly, gave good introductory information, and has been very easy to communicate with and arrange sessions with. He encourages my son to create lesson notes which he responds to with his own comments. My son likes him and says he teaches with understanding and humor. It seems like my son is motivated by Michael--during his non-lesson pool time he has a clear picture of what he needs to practice. It doesn't hurt that Michael is a two-time Olympic medalist!
