More About Coach Kenny

Immediately after college, Chip Kelly brought me on as a coaching intern with the Philadelphia Eagles working directly with the Quarterbacks and the Running backs. I then moved down to Florida to work as a Graduate Assistant and the University of Central Florida (UCF). Along with the staff, I helped turn an 0-12 football team into a National Champion football team, beating Auburn in the Peach Bowl. I worked directly with the Receivers for the first year. My second year I worked with the Running backs. I ran my own individual drills and did one on one work outs with these athletes myself. I will typically worth with athletes aged from 5 to 21.

I was an All-CIF running back my junior year of high school. I broke my high school single season rushing record. Unfortunately, I tore my ACL in the first game of the first quarter of my senior season. At the collegiate level I played at the University of Oregon. I first found playtime on Special teams, but then began to see some action as Running back. Injuries plagued my career, but I managed to make every carry count. I was voted one of the team captains and I helped lead our team to the National Championship my senior season. Along with a few Pac-12 All Academic awards, I was awarded both the Leadership award as well as the Senior Academic Achievement award.

I will start every session with a warm up to get athlete ready for training. I will then ease them in with footwork drills (ladders, cone drills, etc.). These drills will be designed to imitate actual football movement, rather than common "busy work" footwork drills. The next section will be route running drills. These drills will not all be running. One of the most important things that an athlete has to do in a training session is learn. I will explain defensive coverages and the different ways to run routes based on coverages. Sessions will then end with either "breaking tackles" or "blocking" drills. Both are very important when it comes to turning a 7 yard play into an 80 yard play.

My 16 year old son had his first session with Coach Kenny today. It was fantastic. Coach Kenny runs great running back drills and connects with the player in a motivational way. I think we found the trainer we’ve been looking for.

Coach Kenny is great. He asked my son what he felt he needed to work on, then they got right to it.
He pushed him just enough to make it challenging.
My son had a great time. He walks away from every session telling me that was great!!

My son looks forward to his sessions with Coach Kenny. He feels comfortable around him and he's already learned so much from him in such a couple of sessions. I would highly recommend Coach Kenny. He's awesome!

Kenny is awesome. Our son loves him as much as he loves football. Sessions are hard work and fun, and we can see our 9 and 1/2 year old improving week after week. Working with Kenny has made our son a standout in his football league. We feel lucky to have found him.

”Kenny is a great coach! The position-specific training includes drills, footwork, routes, ball skills, pass-catching, and blitzing. My nephew looks forward to the training sessions, and he has asked for more. We saw immediate improvements!

Coach Kenny is the real deal. He has worked with and learned from many successful coaches both in the NFL and in college. His knowledge at the wide receiver and runningback positions are second to none. Train with him if you want to learn technique and do actual football work, rather than pointless drills. See for yourself!
