Strength and Conditioning Coach working on improving the athletic performance of athletes in various sports. I work with athletes of all ages and ability levels working to help improve their performance on the field utilizing strength building techniques that are customized to each individual as no two athletes are the same.
I've trained athletes ranging from middle school to high school and college levels as well as training coaches to implement better conditioning techniques for their teams.
Currently the Quarterbacks Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the San Diego Thunder

A life long athlete who's played or tried every sport that's crossed my path. I played competitive volleyball into my college years at University of Rhode Island (club team) and stopped when it interfered with my studies.

Every session includes video bio-mechanical analysis of the skills we are working to improve. This video allows me to identify the bodies imbalances and determine what needs to be addressed during that session. I'm not looking to change an athletes throwing or hitting or swinging mechanics as that's the job of their sports coach. I'm working to strengthen where needed and improve the body's ability to perform these skills.
Typical Sessions may include: Mobility exercises, Explosive Plyometric work, Power development, strengthening, functional movement training, core training, skill specific strengthening (Running, jumping, throwing, hitting, kicking, swinging, etc.)
It's impossible to determine an athlete's training plan until I perform an initial assessment, and periodic assessments to ensure consistent progress.

The summer going into my sophomore year I ran a 5.1 forty yard dash and jumped a 27 inch vertical. I realized that I needed some professional training in order to better myself as an athlete and get to the level of performance I knew I could reach. A friend told me about coach Joe and the work he does. I decided to try it out and set up an appointment with him. I still believe that was one of the best decisions I've made in my life. Today I run a 4.6 and jump a 36 inch vertical. His workout consists of plyometrics, cardio, band/resistance work, and weight based workouts. His training methods don't just apply to football players. He has a tremendous amount of knowledge applying to baseball, hockey, rugby, and volleyball players. He is a position specific trainer. An immense amount of knowledge on the mechanics of quarterbacks and pitchers. I can truly say that I'm better for the experience. Coach Joe has done wonders for me and he can do the same for you.
I met Joe about a year ago at a park in San diego. I was watching him work with one of his kickers on a full soccer field. After watching his kicker kick nearly the entire field and almost hit me with the ball, I decided to approach him and ask him to train me. At the time I was training for the NFL Regional Combine at the Seattle Seahawks facility. Joe’s knowledge of biomechanics and the nervous system quickly improved my speed and power. When I met Joe, I was 184 lbs and I was running about a 4.7 for 40 yards on an electric timing system. My best since then was a 4.49 at 205 lbs. Joe’s knowledge of the proper mechanics for speed and unique training style have greatly increased my chances of becoming a professional athlete. Just recently I attended the Tiger Rugby Olympic Development academy in Columbus Ohio. I tested extremely high on bench (345) and squat (455).
