More About Coach Caitlin
We have coached more than fifty athletes in the last four years. We write online training plans and oversee in person training session to help athletes reach their goals ranging in distance from the mile to the marathon. We enjoy working with athletes of all ages and abilities- whether you are in middle school or looking to pick up a new hobby in retirement we would love to work with you!
Caitlin - NCAA Division 2 Cross Country and Track & Field (Merrimack College) : 3 season captain, NEICAAA qualifier, 10K school record holder. Personal Bests: 10K (38:55) ; 5K Track (18:43); 5K Road (17:48).
Manny - NCAA Division 1 Cross Country and Track & Field (East Tennessee State University). Personal Bests: Half Marathon (1:07); Marathon (2:26).
We are a running couple with many years of running experience. Caitlin's expertise is in shorter distances ranging from 5k-10K and Manny's expertise is with longer distances such as marathons and half-marathons. Together we would devise a plan that would encompass both endurance and speed. We have a holistic approach to running meaning we will focus on strength, flexibility, and nutrition.

It’s only been 3 sessions with Caitlin, but now I think I could actually run a 5K. She is a great coach and fun to train with. She makes sure I keep a proper running form and encourages me to go outside of my comfort zone to be able to make progress. I highly recommend her.

Both me and my sister worked with Coach Caitlin for 7 sessions, and really enjoyed working with her! She is a very warm person, and I enjoyed learning little inside tidbits of life as a teacher. I felt very accomplished and that I had improved drastically after our sessions. I also have problems of tendinitis in my hip flexor and Coach Caitlin helped tailor some exercises to help me. This was my first time doing something like this but I was desperate. Coach Caitlin fit me in quickly and met me at a very convenient location. She was kind, asked appropriate questions to understand my running needs, assessed my running, made a plan and sent me in-depth exercises to strengthen my areas of weakness. Coach Caitlin is fantastic!I started with her a few months ago as a 47 year old woman who is not a runner and had not regularly engaged in any activity requiring running since I was 18. When I showed up the first day, I was scared to run around the track. When I ran 1 lap (0.25 miles), I was gasping for air and could not go a step further. Additionally, my ankles and lower legs were really weak, and it hurt to run for any length of time. On top of that, I was sure that I hated running but wanted to give a triathalon a try, which is why I sought a coach. Over the past few months we have worked slowly together to build my strength and endurance. Her approach has been slow and methodical, with a clear plan on how to build me up without injury. Three months later, I can now run 2 miles pain free and without losing my breath. Most importantly, I love running now, and look forward to my running days. I am signed up for an Olympic length triathalon (6 miles of running) in 2.5 months, and with Coach Caitlin's help, I am confident my goal is within reach. I would recommend her to anyone.

I worked with Coach Caitlin and Coach Manny from January 2017 - April 2017 for the Boston Marathon. They took me from a novice runner only running a couple of 5K's into a more experienced runner completing in 4 months a 10K, half marathon, and marathon. They both took time no matter what for phone calls, texts, and emails. They took a real interest in my running ability and we adjusted plans accordingly each week. I learned more about the sport of running from these two coaches then i ever though there was to know. I now have a small enjoyment running and recently joined a local running club. I look forward to working with them both whenever I have a race in the future. With no hesitation i would recommend them.
