Coach Brad is great an knows how to train athletes. My sons were in Southwest Florida for Spring Break. We wanted to have fun and relax in Florida without losing the progress the boys had made in indoor season. We scheduled morning and evening sessions with coach Brad and we’re able to get on a nice track and get first class training while on vacation. If you are serious about track and live in or are visiting Southwest Florida contact Brad.

Coach Brad I highly recommend. My daughter learned more in the first session about her form and technique. She felt commfortable with Coach Brad.

I booked a session with coach Brad for my son Nate. Nate is a freshman who currently plays Football and Track. We were looking for an edge training approach that would increase his speed and walked away with more than a training session. In our first session Brad's evaluation found posture and technical form concerns that no one has ever pointed out or attempted to work on with Nate. Brad's knowledge is amazing. Coach Brad is the real deal and wish we would have found him sooner. We are thankful that we crossed paths during Nates freshman year. I highly recommend coach Brad for all athletes looking to get to that next level.

Coach Brad was great with my daughter. In the first session she learned so much. We'll definitely continue training with him.

Coach Brad and his team covered every aspect of javelin throwing such as prevention of injuries, teaching drills, proper body alignment and one-on-one coaching with practice as well as making my son aware of common mistakes. My son felt encouraged by Coach Brad and has enjoyed and benefited from the coaching lessons. He looks forward to future lessons with Coach Brad with a goal of having his best season in 2019.

A really amazing trainer. He knows what he’s talking about and will guide you to be great.

From the first session with Coach Brad, Paul walked away with a different approach as far as track and realized he needs to do things differently. He has used those skills so far to his advantage.

My daughter met with Brad for the first time this week. She went into it feeling apprehensive, as she recently had ACL reconstruction surgery and her confidence has been low. I was blown away by how quickly she warmed up to Brad during the session! He immediately was able to find issues with her running technique and my daughter learned more about running track in an hour with Brad, than she learned at practice all year so far! She can’t wait to continue working with him, and is finally feeling excited again about the places she can go in this sport! Coach Brad is so knowledgeable, I know my daughter is in good hands!

very great coach. really knows what he's talking about and knows exactly how to help you.

I just wanted to say thanks for everything that you have done and all of the time that you put in to make me a better athlete. I really appreciate it and I've began to realize once I got to UConn how much all of the OT coaches prepared me and set me up for success, and you were a big part of that. So I really just wanted to say thank you. Maybe you will be able to see one of my races at Van Cortlandt!!!!
Last winter I came to Brad in hope to better my technique and hurdle form for the 400 meter-Intermediate Hurdles. As an inexperienced hurdler Brad re-taught me the basics of hurdling, correct running form, how to come out of the blocks, and injury-prevention lifting. After a couple months of training I saw significant improvements in the beginning of the spring season(more than two second decrease in time compared to my first race the previous year). I continued training with Brad over the spring season, improving the consistency of my steps between hurdles which I struggled with the most. Soon I was able to hurdle consistently with my correct leg over the first eight hurdles of the race. Compared to my radical times the previous year, I was able to hit the same time or better every race (dropping an average two seconds from the last year). Brad ultimately made it possible for me to medal in the State Meet of Champions and because of my success in that season I was able to attend the college of my choice. The working environment at S.C.I. made it possible for me to reach my full potential and the trainers here treat everyone with attention and respect, as they would with a professional athlete. Any committed Track and Field athlete should consider training here if they want to improve in their event and desire to move on to the next level. I look forward to training here and continuing the friendships here at S.C.I.
When I started working with Brad at The Sports Conditioning Institute, I was struggling with chronic ankle injuries that stemmed from instability, weakness, and improper running form. With years of technique work and strength training, I set multiple PRs and became a more well-rounded athlete. Brad, Seth, and Kyle were extraordinarily knowledgeable about the physical and mental sides of track and field. Without this highly competent and skilled team, I would definitely not be running in college. They helped me believe I could be great and, more importantly, fall in love with the sport again after a year of crutches, ice baths, and x-rays. Thank you to the entire SCI staff for all the work you do. You’re a positive influence in the lives of every athlete that walks through your doors!
Thanks for all you've done, Brad. Aside from teaching him to jump you've played a big part in teaching him to BELIEVE! Before you can, you have to think you can. And he finally does!
The one thing that allows Brad Vaccaro to connect with his clients and have them elevate to their highest potential is his ability to have his training program become adaptive to the athletes need, or levels of skills and abilities. In other words, Brad can train an athlete who is new to the sport to become competitive for an upcoming championship, while at the same time training a more advanced athlete with the same program. Instead of one hot fit all training program, his style of training is adaptive for the beginner or even the more advanced athletes.
My son and I met Brad and the S.C.I. staff when he was a high school sophomore 3 years ago. We were impressed by the training methods used at S.C.I., STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY, BALANCE AND INJURY PREVENTION. Already being a talented track athlete I knew that S.C.I. would be the right place for Jon improve. Training at S.C.I. would require a 75 minute commute each direction so we had to had to make a careful decision. At the beginning of Jr. year Jon began training. This turned out to be a great decision. After long days at school and track practice we traveled to S.C.I. weekly for training. Training helped Jon improve in his best events, the triple and long jump. Jon set new state and county records in long and triple jump. I know that he would not have met his track goals without S.C.I. Training went beyond building him up physically, he received valuable advice from Brad and staff that built him up mentally; this is something no one can ever take from him and will keep with him for life. Universities called on Jon and was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship from LSU to be a part of their talented track team. This is a school he has dreamed about going to since middle school, a dream come true! He was so pleased with his S.C.I. experience he decided to major in kinesiology so he can one day do the work that is done at S.C.I. I am so grateful to Brad for all his wonderful work.
Thank you for all you are doing to keep Brian competitive. This has been a great experience for him and we are all looking forward to the upcoming season. You have been an excellent trainer and Brian feels he is getting stronger. Thank you also for the college advice you have been giving him.
SCI has been like a second set of coaches. They have been able to provide additional training in skill events, develop strength and flexibility, as well as help athletes who are hurt return to form quicker than they would with just our own trainers. Our coaching staff has learned to treat SCI as an extension of are own program.
Dear Brad, I want to thank you for the fine work you have done in training the track athletes of Holy Angels who have gone to your training center. Your dedication and hard work have helped our athletes improve their performance. Keep up the good work.
The Sports-Conditioning Institute has had a measurable positive effect on the Track athletes on my team. The strength training program helped my premier 800m runner avoid injury in his spring season. The specific hurdle training helped my intermediate hurdler win League, County Group, and State Sectional titles. Both of these athletes are now competing at the Division I Collegiate level. I would definitely recommend the Sports Conditioning Institute to any Track and Field athlete.
Our son started training with Brad and Kyle at the end of his sophomore year (June 2013)in order to improve his speed and stamina while running Cross Country and during the Track and Field Season as a long distance runner. Our son is now a senior, Captain of his XC and Track & Field teams, and being recruited by several Division I Colleges. Our son was a member of the 4 x 800 Relay Team that broke several school records last year and participated in Nationals in North Carolina this past spring. Sports Conditioning Institute is definitely the most knowledgeable, safe and effective training available for athletes. We recommend training at SCI to anyone who is seeking guidance and experience.
My son has been training at SCI for about six months. I cannot say enough about Brad Vaccaro and the entire staff. We feel lucky to have found them. Anyone can tell you what you need to do to improve but at SCI they actually teach you how to get better. This is one of the only facilities in NJ to offer indoor, year round high jump, long jump and throwing clinics. The trainers are all very accomplished in their respective fields so you are being taught by someone who has "walked the walk" and understands the specific needs of you sport or event. With a focus on preventing injury SCI has helped my son get bigger, faster and stronger. His technique and confidence have improved and he looks forward to every workout. He has also received great nutritional and motivational advice here. This is a special place where they really know what they are doing.
