I have helped 70+ athletes around the world succeed at goal races including the Boston Marathon, UTMB, Marine Corps Marathon, Western States, and the London Marathon. I hold certifications in Endurance Running, Ultrarunning, and Endurance Running Sports Nutrition. I am a Training Peaks Level 2 Coach.
I have raced competitively in over 100 marathons and ultramarathons with numerous podium / top 10 finishes and multiple sub 3-hour marathons. I have completed 13 races that were 100+ miles, including Tor des Geants and finishing UTMB top 75 overall and 3rd American man.
I primarily help athletes pursuing big, long-term goals. My monthly coaching includes daily customized workouts via the Training Peaks app; regular workout feedback and training plan updates; customized strength training workouts also loaded in Training Peaks; guidance on nutrition, gear, and mental preparation, and unlimited communication via text, e-mail, or phone.
Schedule and location permitting, I also provide in-person coaching sessions focused primarily on running form and technique, avoiding injury, and running-specific strength training exercises

I've been working with Will this past year as I wanted to make the move from casual distance runner to an ultramarathon trail runner. I've already completed my first 50k since working with Will, and am in the midst of training for a 50 miler next month. Before working with Will, I was averaging around 30 miles per week with no experience trail running. Since our time working together, Will has helped me slowly ramp up to 60-70 miles a week with a large portion of that on the trails while staying injury free. With this kind of mileage, there's so much that goes into staying healthy and continuing to improve - and Will is knowledgeable in all aspects. From sending me stretching and strength training exercises to incorporate throughout the week, to providing guidance on nutrition both during runs and while recovering, to offering advice on running form and technique while running on the trails, Will has made me so much more knowledgeable and a complete runner.
