More About Coach Whitney

I have been coaching athletes for over 15 years in running, swimming, and endurance sport. I have coached adult athletes 1:1 in running through my business Transcend Health & Wellness as well as age group athletes at the Lawrence Swim Club. I have coached groups of athletes through clubs and running groups including Transcend Running Group and group fitness classes through my business. I coach running distances 5k-Ultra Marathon. In my coaching career I have worked with young adults and adults of all ages and abilities to coach them to train and perform their best in their endurance sport.

I am a RRCA Certified Running Coach, a Certified Kettlebell Coach through KettleCamp by Jennifer Hintenberger, as well as a Certified Health, Life, and Transformational Coach through Health Coach Institute. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education and am a former teacher of almost 10 years.

I enjoy working with athletes to empower their running and mindset so that they can train smarter, build strength, and perform injury free. With over 25+ years of endurance sport and mental health experience, I love to bring the expertise of educated and powerful training to those that I train!

I am a lifetime endurance sport athlete swimming competitively for over 16 years. I swam at Division II University of Indianapolis and am a Hall of Fame Athlete. I have been running for over 12 years and have completed 5k-Ultra Marathon distances in my adult running career including the TCS New York City Marathon, a World Major Marathon.

10-15 minutes of mobility work and dynamic warm up
40 minutes of training in running- this can include speed work, drills, strength training, form analysis, or mindset coaching
10 minutes of cool down stretching and soft tissue massage work with mobility tools
