More About Coach Vasilissa
My coaching is based on my professional swimming career and experience training with world-class coaches. I work with athletes of all levels, from beginners learning fundamental water skills to competitive youth swimmers, collegiate-level athletes, and adults of all ages. I take a calm, athlete-centered approach, focusing on understanding each swimmer’s goals and creating a supportive environment.
With 17 years of dedication to competitive swimming, I have competed and succeeded at the highest national and international levels. My collegiate career at the University of Southern California (USC) includes Top-4 NCAA finishes, a Pac-12 Championship title, recognition as a USC record holder, and four CSCAA All-American honors. Internationally, I am a multiple-time Russian National Champion, World Junior Champion, and Junior European Champion, as well as a European Junior Record Holder. I am also a four-time champion of the European Olympic Games (Baku), a bronze medalist at the Summer Universiade, and a bronze medalist at the FINA Swimming World Cup.
Each session is built around the swimmer’s individual goals and current level. I focus on clean technique, body position, and comfort in the water, using simple, effective drills and clear feedback.

Client Reviews
Maria (parent of swimmer) (Testimonial)
Our family has been training with Coach Vasilissa consistently for more than four years. Our 6-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son look forward to every session. She creates positive environment while delivering real technical progress
Li (parent of competitive swimmer) (Testimonial)
We trained with Coach Vasilissa during Christmas break, and the progress was amazing. She worked on proper, professional technique and paid great attention to details like starts, turns, and underwater work. My son came out of the sessions more confident, more efficient, and much more technically sound. Vasilissa is knowledgeable and detail-oriented. Thank you coach!
Rebekah (Testimonial)
My son was terrified of water and wouldn’t even go near the pool. In a very short time, Vasilissa helped him overcome his fear and feel confident in the water. Now Michael loves swimming, and at just 5 years old he is already swimming all four strokes. We are incredibly grateful for her patience, calm approach, and ability to connect with kids.
