Coach Miller brings a wealth of experience and leadership to The CoachUp platform Offensive Line Coach.He has a strong background in player development, technique, and game strategy. He has helped build dominant offensive lines that are instinctive skills set in pass protection and run blocking. His passion for developing dominant offensive linemen, Coach Miller brings 4 years of coaching experience. He is known for instilling toughness, technique, and discipline.

Coach Miller specializes in run-game efficiency, pass protection, and player development, ensuring linemen are well-equipped to control the line of scrimmage. Under Coach leadership he has Helped the team achieve 2 playoff appearances (2023,2024), Coached and developed 2 (Aiden Cooper, and Gabe Hernandez) All-Conference offensive linemen, Offensive line unit contributed to 200.5 rushing yards per game / 40% pass protection improvement, Mentored 8 players who earned college scholarships.

Before joining Butler High School, Coach Miller also Coached at Julius L. Chambers HS, where he played a pivotal role in developing and mentoring junior varsity athletes that led most of his previous players to become starters and vital parts of the program. As a former college athlete, Coach Miller brings firsthand experience to coaching, emphasizing fundamentals, teamwork, and a relentless work ethic. Off the field, he is dedicated to mentoring athletes and fostering a culture of accountability and success.

Before stepping into coaching, Coach Miller had a standout collegiate career, playing five years of football at North Carolina A&T State University and Winston-Salem State University. While at NC A&T, he was part of a powerhouse program that won back-to-back National HBCU Championships in 2018 and 2019. He later finished his playing career at WSSU.

TyShawn “Coach Ty” Miller specializes in developing Offensive and Defensive Linemen from middle school through college-level athletes. As the founder of Fat Boyz Academy (FBA), Coach Ty delivers year-round trench development—because championships are built in the offseason, not just on game day.

Coach Ty pairs elite coaching with firsthand experience, having played for multiple-time HBCU National Champion North Carolina A&T (NCAT) and finishing his collegiate career at Winston-Salem State University. His background, combined with a deep understanding of the trenches, drives the culture and standard of Fat Boyz Academy.

Fat Boyz Academy is built for athletes serious about dominating the line of scrimmage. Athletes are coached hard, challenged daily, and pushed beyond their comfort zones—always with structure, intention, and care. This program is not for everyone. FBA develops durable, confident linemen prepared for the next level and beyond, with a proven emphasis on technique, football IQ, accountability, and consistency.
