More About Coach Taiya

I have experience as an assistant coach and personal coach for high school and club track & field (sprints and middle distance) as well as strength and conditioning. Outside of personal training, I have coached at Mount De Sales Academy and Carrol Park Track Club.

I am currently a professional track athlete for Under Armour specializing in the 800m. At the collegiate level, I competed for Vanderbilt University where I specialized in the 400m while also running the 200m, 800m, and sprint relays. During my time in college I was a 4x NCAA All-American and an 8x school record holder.

We will first discuss your goals and experience so that I am providing the best training for you. However, you can expect very technical speed, strength and conditioning training. We start every session discussing the goal/theme of the day, followed by dynamic stretching and warm up run + track drills, next will be the running/workout of the day followed by cool down stretching and debrief. If you are interested in weight lifting we can lift after certain workouts or the session could be solely weight lifting that day. I will help you train your body and mind to unlock your full potential. You can expect an environment that is fun but also hard-working as we work to reach your goals!
