More About Coach Scott

I started kicking and punting for my football team when I was in 8th grade. After working with private coaches throughout high school and into junior college I earned a full scholarship to kick at the University of Hawai'i. While at the University of Hawai'i I earned All-Conference honors and broke several scoring records. After college I signed with a NFL/CFL Agent, earned tryouts with NFL/CFL teams, and competed in the arena football leagues. At this time in my life I would enjoy nothing more than to share the knowledge I've learned throughout my journey and give back to the community.

My services focus on the mental, physical, and recruiting aspects. I am a firm believer that the mental side is just as important as the physical in any sport and at any level. I also have a lot of information to share about the recruiting process. Often times talented athletes do not make it to the next level because they lack exposure and I can offer a lot of direction while navigating that process.

Overall I enjoy working with athletes of all ages and experience levels, but I especially enjoy working with high school athletes looking to play in college.

College: University of Hawai’i
Western Athletic Conference Football Champion 2010
2nd Team All-WAC Kicker 2010
Broke 7 scoring records at the University of Hawai’i

Junior College: Sierra College
3rd Team Junior College All-American 2008 by JC Grid-Wire
2x 1st Team All-Conference Kicker

Prep: Granite Bay High School
2x 1st Team All-Area Kicker by the Roseville Press-Tribune
2x 1st Team All-League Kicker by the Sacramento Bee

I start my sessions with a dynamic stretching warm up, followed by stability training, technical drills, plenty of kicking reps, and finish with a static stretch while discussing performance under pressure. After my athletes develop confidence in their technique I will put them through simulated pressure situations to build up their mental stamina. By the end of each session I want my athletes to feel inspired to go accomplish their goals!

Client Reviews

We were very happy with coach Scott. He was very knowledgeable with all three aspects of kicking, place kicking, kickoffs & punting. He filmed our son kicking and was able to break it down and point out good & bad techniques after each kick. He taught him a lot of great stretches and ways to prepare for a game. Our son learned so much from just one session, it was a very good experience and we will reach out to book again in the near future. Thanks Coach Scott!

We are so pleased to find Coach Scott. He is an very personable guy that is easy going and has a effortless way of connecting with my son. I have already seen the benefits of the session we had with him and am looking forward to the next training day.

Coach Enos was fantastic. Better than I imagined. My grandson before I could say anything immediately said he wanted more time with Coach. He provided so much information like on body positioning and which way to place football if there are winds coming from different directions. Important to know when you are a kicker. He provided my grandson also with exercises he can do to train his body to keep his shoulders back and head straight while you are preparing to kick. Great info. Thank you so much Coach!

My son does not have any field goal kicking experience, so Coach Scott had to teach him everything. My son was impressed with Coach Scott because he provided plenty of positive feedback and my son said that Coach Scott never got frustrated with him. He provided my son with plenty of stretching and strength training exercises. We are going to book more sessions in the future.

My son had a great first training session with Coach Scott. He is very knowledgeable, was so friendly and made it a lot of fun. My son was excited about what he learned and is looking forward to continuing with Coach Scott. I highly recommend!

Coach Scott was absolutely excellent. Very informative with positive feedback. I went into the session feeling like I was extremely behind and doubting myself. I experienced positive results throughout the session. He was very patient and also very positive throughout. Thanks to his tutelage I have made so much progress. I will definitely book him again.

It has been great to meet and work with Coach Scott. Our son's technique has improved significantly in just a few sessions. Scott's coaching is extremely relatable and positive, he is an excellent role model and mentor.

He was great. He explained everything and answered all my son's questions. In one lesson my son began kicking the ball with more power and consistentcy.

Coach Scott is a really good coach. After one lesson I am already so much better then what I was. He is extremely good at what he does. The session was only supposed to be an hour but coach Scott spent an extra 30 minutes helping me after the session. Kyle Ericsson

Coach Scott was incredible to work with. He gave me 10-year-old son Tavin some drills to do to improve his kicking that were easy for my son to understand and perform. Best of all, I appreciated Coach Scott's approach to coaching. I knew he knew what he was talking about and completely trusted his instructions, but he was humble enough to give my son a couple of approaches to perform his kicking duties and then left it up to my son to choose what he felt worked best for him. He avoided coming out and telling my son this is how to kick and that is the only way to do it like some coaches may attempt to do.
My son chose a kicking technique detailed by Coach Scott and continues to follow his advise to be a better kicker for his team.
Coach Scott was well worth the money and the 1 1/2 hour drive to get to our coaching appointment. I would recommend him to anyone and will look to booking more sessions with him in the future.

Scott is a great coach and mentor. Being coached by him taught me all the fundamentals of kicking and the major keys to become and great kicker. He is very patient and has a lot of knowledge of the game.
Scott is a tremendous talent. He has a huge leg and is becoming more and more consistent. Hard working young man with a good head on his shoulders. Great kickoff guy. Great fit for Hawaii.
Scott has the potential to be a NFL kicker. He thumps the ball when he makes contact on field goals. Kickoffs are solid. He is working on a few adjustments that will allow for him to find his consistency.
