More About Coach Ronnie

It is my pleasure and desire to increase self-esteem and encourage healthy lifestyles through the promotion of effective physical fitness techniques that the average person can perform at any time in multiple environments. On a athletic level it is my job to push athletes to the next level to prolong there high school, college, and professional career in sports and health.

My background includes all-around athleticism, rehabilitation therapy, strength and conditioning training, and fitness and wellness instruction accomplished over the past twelve years—to also include attainment of the Specialist in Sports Conditioning certification with ISSA & certified with the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a CSCS. What I have found in my past experience is the mental and physical challenges faced when it comes to maintaining wholesome work-out routines, so I believe that performing a variety of exercises with different focus areas reap greater benefits for the mind and body, as well as, prevent injuries to the muscles and joints. Since we all can fall victim to the same old exercise routines, it is my goal to provide an alternative method that will inspire the motivation, determination and discipline necessary to keep the personal “drive.”

Ronnie Hinton grew up in Boston Massachusetts, being a stand out Football Player and Track Star. In high school playing two different position as a Strong Safety and Tail back helping the West Roxbury Raiders win two championship in 96 & 97, he went on to play football as a Wide Receiver at Tufts University in Boston Massachusetts. As a wide receiver at Tufts, he made an impact as a D2-college player, he also played on special teams, kickoff return with 612 total yards and a 34.0 yard average. Being scouted by some coaches and agents he continued to play his three year as a jumbo football player. Going undrafted he went to try out for Arena Football as a New York Dragon in 2005.

Very good with training our 15 year old, patient and very kind. Helped to motivate and was great working with him on endurance and strength, etc.

Coach Ronnie did an excellent job with our son. He listened to what we wanted from the training sessions and paired our expectations with what our son needed to reach benchmarks. He was flexible with adjusting sessions and provided detailed feedback. He was always prompt in responding to calls and texts. Coach Ronnie is professional, knowledgeable, and provided valuable training opportunities.

For a number of months, I was participating in Ronnie's POC class twice a week. In all of my years at NGA, I have never felt better both physically and mentally than when I was regularly attending those classes. Besides the substantial physical benefit, the strenuous nature of the course helped me develop a higher level of mental toughness, gave me better energy throughout the day and contributed to a greater feeling of overall well-being in my life. Ronnie has an obvious depth of knowledge as a strength coach and I could not more highly recommend his POC class or his suggestions on strength training and diet. The work force is better for him being here. Coach Ronnie has changed my work ethic, It has increased my blood flow. I feel more energetic the next day. Coach Ronnie helped me maxed my Physical Fitness Test for the Air Force Reserve! (99.5/100)! Let's Go!! Coach Ronnie is all that! his training helps work new muscles and the group spirit keeps people coming back. More importantly, since I started POC/CC, I have not had lower back spasms. The POC class has greatly enhanced my fitness level. I love that it combines cardio, strength, and conditioning into one class because I feel that it makes this class the best class overall. The fact that we never know what exercises we will be doing until we show up to class makes it exciting and unexpected at the same time, which helps me stay out of a fitness rut. In addition, Ronnie is a great teacher and motivator. Ever since I worked with Ronnie Hinton I've seen improvements in my strength, agility, and stamina, as well as improvements in my ROM. It's also helped me rehab injuries and better balance strength disparities (one arm weaker than the other, hip/knee imbalances). I enjoy the challenge and the holistic approach to fitness that POC presents. -Ronnie Hinton has helped me get stronger, more fit, increased aerobic stamina and much better mental state. Thanks for all you do! Physical outburst conditioning has been great for me building muscle and stamina. While I mix it up between that class and the core conditioning class I either do two core's or one core and one outburst a week. The deciding factor isn't so much the intensity it’s the timing of my week. I prefer to do the outburst class since it even more of a workout. Thank you and keep up the great classes! Hi Ronnie, Thanks to your Physical Outburst Conditioning class, I am more toned, energetic and happier. I have also noticed an improvement in my stamina. I am able to run faster and don't get as tired due to stronger muscles. Keep up the good work!
I am excited to have a new fitness challenge in the POC and CC classes. These classes definitely push me harder than I would do on my own and they have provided me with a reason to get stronger and fitter- to keep up with everyone else! It seems to also be helping to get strength and range of motion back in my shoulder- an old injury that had been keeping me sidelined much of the last year. I appreciate you pushing us with ever changing routines- thanks for providing these great classes. My schedule takes me off campus fairly often so I can't make it all the time but I look forward to them when I can.
