Fundamentally based, Knowledgeable and Affordable sports conditioning & performance training for the developing and experienced athlete. I've been training athletes of all levels for over 20 yrs. I currently teach & coach at ILTexas KatyWestpark High (Richmond, TX). I work with Boys & Girls ages 10 +. I am CPR & First Aid certified. I have a BS in Kinesiology, and BS in Recreation and Leisure Studies. I am a member of the National Federation of High School Associations, Texas High School Coaches Association, and I have certifications in: USA Football and The Brand X Method.

I was a 4-yr Football & 3-yr Track Letterman in High school. Played college football at Southern University-BR and Portland State University. I played Arena Football for the Portland Prowlers. Played Semi-Pro/Minor league football for the Oregon Thunderbolts. I coached the Alberta Park Panthers to several city championships in the Portland Youth Football League. Coached High school football at Madison High (Portland, OR) for 4 years, and served as their Youth football coordinator. Since relocating here 10 years ago, I've coached youth football for : First Colony Patriots (3 years), EastSide Bengals (3 years) and ILTexas KWHS (currently).

A typical workout begins with a meet & greet. As the client is pre-warmup, we discuss some points of performance for the workout, as well as how the day has been. Client does two laps to warmup, we stretch, do some dynamic stretches and a mini-workout emphasizing what our main workout of day will be. I teach technique of exercises I want to implement for day, we work on it, then we get into the full workout. We'll also focus on target skill area for the sport & position they play. Have a review and feedback cool down at the conclusion of our workout.

Coach Roderick did not waste any time. He asked for our objectives and what we wanted to accomplished then worked my son in all of the areas he needs help with. On the way home my son asked if we could continue training after the season was over so he can feel prepared and confident for next season. You can tell Coach Roderick knows what he’s doing and he shows the kids and doesn’t just talks at them. He got more from 1 hour with Roderick than he did from a weeks worth of team practice. Definitely going to keep bringing him back. My son can’t wait to use the things he learned in the game this week.
