More About Coach Raymond
20-plus years of successful playing, coaching, administrative, operations, management and leadership experience on the high school and pro football levels. Enthusiastic, successful veteran football coach and administrator, skilled at implementing and directing all phases of teaching competitive football. Leader, coach, teacher and mentor with experience in organizing and planning a winning environment. Willing to train ages 7 and up.
I was a 3-year starter at the University of Louisiana at Monroe as a Quarterback 1992-1996. Same University that Doug Pederson (Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach and 2018 Superbowl Champs), Stan Humphries (QB), Marty Booker( WR), Steve Foley (DE) attended. ULM Hall of Fame Inductee, 2009. Played 2 years in the CFL for Winnipeg Bluebombers. Played for 10 seasons in the Arena Football League( AFL) for Indiana Firebirds, Chicago Rush, Kansas City Brigades, and Cleveland Gladiators. Holds the record for TD-INT ratio for 507 to 29.
Off season training. Main goal here is to work on arm strength, speed and agility . Increase explosion, increase condition. Get better on the little things.
A typical session working with me would consist of footwork drills, balance drills, transferring your weight, cone drills, etc. I focus more on the placement of the footballs. Session would start off with 5-10 minutes warming up. From there we go in out footwork drills(drops and moving in the pocket and resetting to throw). Throwing the route tree from hitches to go routes(if we have available wr's). Cardio is a plus, so at the end of every session, athletes will do conditioning.

Coach Raymond knows what he is doing. Watching him teach my 12 year old son and the way my son responded within the first 30 minutes. I knew he was the right coach. I highly recommend Coach Raymond for any QB looking to get better.

Coach has a vast knowledge of football and what it takes to perform at a high level as a quarterback. He is great with kids and was able to improve my son's mechanics and confidence significantly in just a few practices. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

First session was great. Lots of good drills and a positive approach. Looking forward to more instruction for my ten year old.
Craig (CoachUp client)
My son had a hitch in his throwing mechanics. Coach P. saw the issue immediately; and his wheels started turning. He was able not only to diagnose the problem quickly, but to come up with several exercises to begin to fix it. Within two days of working the exercises, my son and I saw dramatic improvements in both ball speed and accuracy. We are going back to see Coach P. in two weeks. Good man. Excellent teacher.
