More About Coach Peter

I have extensive experience coaching and training athletes across multiple sports, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, and water polo. I have worked with elite-level teams as well as youth and amateur athletes, focusing on developing sport-specific strength, power, speed, agility, and overall athletic performance.
I am working as a strength and conditioning coach and performance analyst, where I develop and implement injury prevention protocols and design individualized training programs to optimize athlete performance. I also work with recreational clients and the general public, providing home training programs, movement therapy sessions, and general fitness workouts focused on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and strength development.
I hold an MSc in Sport Science and industry certifications including Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) from IWI International Fitness School, and have completed multiple advanced training courses in strength, conditioning, and athlete performance optimization.
I typically work with clients and athletes of all ages and skill levels, tailoring my approach to the individual needs of each person while applying evidence-based training methods to maximize performance, reduce injury risk, and support rehabilitation.

I have a long and diverse background as an athlete, having competed in soccer and track & field athletics for 18 years, from 2003 to 2021. In track & field, I specialized in the decathlon and achieved the National Champion title in Hungary in 2018. Throughout my athletic career, I competed at the national level, gaining extensive experience in strength, endurance, agility, and multi-event performance.
In addition to my personal athletic achievements, I have worked professionally as a strength and conditioning coach and performance analyst across multiple sports, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, water polo, and handball, supporting athletes from youth levels to elite teams. I have been involved in designing training programs, implementing injury prevention protocols, conducting movement and performance analyses, and optimizing athlete performance for competition.
I have contributed to several championship-winning teams, including Ferencvárosi TC’s soccer team (Hungarian championship winner 2023) and Ferencvárosi TC’s water polo team (LEN Champions League winner 2023), as well as other national-level teams across Hungary. This combination of personal competitive experience and professional coaching expertise allows me to understand athlete performance from both the perspective of a competitor and a trainer, enabling me to provide highly effective training and performance strategies.

A typical session with me is individualized and goal-oriented, designed to match the athlete’s or client’s current fitness level, sport, and performance goals. Each session begins with a brief assessment or check-in to evaluate the client’s readiness, mobility, and any potential limitations or recent injuries.
I focus on a combination of strength development, injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and sport-specific conditioning. For athletes, this often includes movement drills, agility exercises, sprinting or power training, and sport-specific technical drills. For recreational clients, I integrate functional training, mobility, core stability, and general fitness exercises, ensuring a safe and effective progression.
Throughout the session, I emphasize proper technique, biomechanics, and controlled movement patterns, providing immediate feedback and corrections to optimize performance and reduce injury risk. I also incorporate home exercises and recovery protocols when relevant, so the client can continue to progress outside of the training session.
Each session concludes with a cool-down and evaluation, discussing progress, and any adjustments needed for upcoming sessions. My goal is to ensure that every client leaves the session feeling challenged, supported, and confident in their training.

With faith, persistence, and Coach Peter's outstanding training, I know that I will run for the first time in my life. If his expertise can serve to revive and train a body that has never functioned correctly in 40 years, what can he do for you!!?? Diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular disorder as a toddler, I'd only known physical insufficiency and limitation. Though I believed the prognosis could be overcome, decades of moving incorrectly established bad habits and restricted my potential. I'd long hoped for someone who could understand how my nerves and muscles were functioning and what was needed for them to work harmoniously and at full capacity. Scores of neurologists, instructors, therapists, body workers, doctors, alternative healthcare practitioners, etc., could not comprehend my condition nor provide meaningful help. When I met Coach Peter in Autumn 2024, my balance, stamina, core strength, movement confidence, and muscular control were poor. Parts of me just didn't work and I did not know how to make them work. After only 6-8 weeks of training sessions I could walk without assistive devices, I could exercise longer and stronger with better results, I could walk farther without needing to rest, I could move quicker with more confidence, and recently I started to walk my dog. I was never able to do that. Coach Peter is intelligent, funny, kind, patient, focused, determined to find solutions, and an excellent discerner of what is needed and how to get there. He easily saw the root of my situation and his methods are actually reprogramming me so I can become physically able! That's astounding. If you believe that you can be better, stronger, faster, healthier, or more proficient, but need expert insight into how to make it happen, Coach Peter is the man.
