My goal is to take the guesswork out of your training. I combine the science of running with the reality of your daily life to build a program that works.
Performance Profiling: I start by analyzing your current fitness, race goals, and training history to establish a baseline.
Running Economy Analysis: Using my background in biomechanics, I analyze your gait to find any inefficiencies that are robbing you of speed or endurance.
Strategic Programming: I will map out your easy runs, tempo/threshold runs, strength/mobility workouts, and long runs to fit your specific lifestyle and schedule.
Drills for Speed: You will learn specific neuromuscular drills designed to improve your turnover and cadence and to reduce the risk of future injury.

Client Reviews
Nicholas (CoachUp client)
Highly recommend Pat! His background as a Physical Therapist for runners brings a level of depth to his coaching that you won't find elsewhere. The initial assessment was remarkably detailed, and his monthly guidance is precise, scientific, and tailored to my specific physical needs. My knees feel and back feel a world of difference. If you want to run faster without breaking your body, he is the person to call.
Mike (CoachUp client)
As a beginner, I was worried about getting injured. Pat took that fear away. His initial assessment and monthly coaching are rooted in science, not just mileage. He helped me build a solid foundation and I have been running pain-free and with total confidence. If you're starting out, his clinical expertise is a must-have.
Maddie (CoachUp client)
I wouldn’t have made it to the start line of my first marathon without Pat. Having a Running-Specialist PT as a coach is a total game changer. His monthly coaching is rooted in injury prevention, ensuring every mile I ran was productive and sustainable. Whether it's your first time race or 10th of the season, his professional expertise is the best investment you can make. Thank you Coach Pat!
Jacob (CoachUp client)
I cannot recommend Coach/Dr. Pat enough! He doesn’t an amazing job creating a plan doable for both me and him. Provides excellent feedback, quick communication, collaborative care. He helped me overcome a disc injury and is now prepping me for my first road race! Cant recommend him enough!
