I am USATF coaching certified and have been running for 18 years. I have ran anything from the half mile to marathon distance, ranging from 4:17 mile to 2:39 marathon. I have been leading others to success for the past several years and can help set up a schedule to keep you on track for upcoming races. Whether it is goal setting, form critique, pacing, schedule, mental toughness, or just general guidance and encouragement I would love to help.

I am passionate on being a man or woman of discipline. I focus my attention on challenging and building more discipline in athletes and members of the community's lives. Achieving goals is usually not easy or comfortable; however with endurance, discipline, and commitment it is possible. I love helping others become wholly fit as we engage the heart, soul, mind, and body.

Just getting back into the racing world and never would I have ever thought of hiring a running coach. My initial meeting with Nate was amazing! I pulled out a neon green index card with my goals, training history and some past races. I remember stating to him I’ll run 3 to 4 days... max. He smiled and nodded and wrote down some more notes. I got the feeling this would change :-) We talked a bit more and then jogged for what felt like 7 miles (but really just 1.) Nate is great! I trained for a 10k and I was completely prepared for the run! He pushed me to past my comfort zone. I will definitely work with him again for future runs!

Coach Nate was great. He really listened to my present condition, goals and questions. He was educated, confident in his answers and it made perfect sense. I firmly believe Coach Nate is the best running coach out there! He makes it his personal mission to help you achieve your goal(s). He prepared me both mentally and physically. Coach Nate gave me schedules for what we were going to do every week. The first session he evaluated my running technique (everything from cadence to form to breathing). Then, in just a few sessions, he helped me achieve my goal of a sub 6 minute mile (I officially got 5:54). According to my phone's GPS, it was 5:46! Anyway, he ran beside me the whole time and paced me perfectly. All you have to do is put in the work and he will do the rest! I have been trying to get sub 6 for 4-5 years on my own and Coach Nate helped me achieve it in a very short time.

Liked that his first session with my highschool runners was an evaluation of stride, form, and steps per minute. Boys really enjoy training with him and are looking forward to a successful xc season.
