More About Coach Mitz

I specialize in child development for ages 2-18 years old with a decade of experience in strength and conditioning. I've worked with middle school teams and semi pro teams and currently am a Fitness Director at Generator Athlete Lab.

I grew up playing club soccer and competing in Golden Gloves. I also did competitive paintball at the high school and collegiate level. I currently compete in smaller MMA tournaments.

Sessions are designed to build confidence and a love for fitness. Each session focuses on "active play". Dynamic warm up, skills, strength & conditioning, finisher. Sessions are catered to the individual with a focus on soccer, swimming, or martial arts. I improve balance, coordination, injury prevention, speed, and longevity.

Client Reviews

After reviewing and evaluating your class at 5:30pm on Tuesday, June 4, we are pleased to inform you that you have PASSED the Level 3 evaluation! This is an incredible achievement in your KidStrong coaching journey, and we hope you feel a strong sense of pride and accomplishment. Achieving a passing score for Level 3 represents the ability to embody one of the highest levels of coaching in KidStrong Nation. Our hope is that you take the skills you have gained along the way and continue to pass them along to your own network of coaches you interact with. Your presence on the floor creates a structured, safe and fun learning environment. It is clear you have taken the time to build relationships with each of your students and families, and those deposits translate to respect. Families in the lobby were completely in tune and engaged throughout class. Not only did you continue to find ways to bring them into the class, but your energy and enthusiasm made it so they didn’t want to miss a thing. The ability to create a safe, structured learning environment leads to the ability to build strong relationships with your families. You connected with families before and after class. You were intentional about your body language when engaging with our kids on the floor - by dropping a knee you enter into their world and let them know you’re on their team. Your words - both encouragement and coaching - land better when you can connect with your students in this way. Additionally, you found ways to provide appropriate levels of coaching to each student to make sure they finish class with a sense of accomplishment.
