More About Coach LaMonta

QB Coach at Manual Arts HS and former QB Coach at Westminster HS. Founder of Green Quarterback Academy, where I train QBs of all ages to master mechanics, decision-making, and football IQ.

In high school, I was the MVP and also earned MVP honors at the Palmetto Classic in South Carolina, where my school, Virginia State University, played against Benedict University.

A typical session with me focuses on fundamental quarterback skills: footwork, throwing mechanics, and decision-making. We start with a warm-up, followed by specific drills like three-step drops, accuracy targets, and reading defenses. Sessions end with a cool-down and review.

Client Reviews

Coach Green is a Great QB Coach!!!- very personable, a really good guy, and knows how to work with young athletes.
My son is 13, just starting 8th grade and is very serious about being varsity QB for his high school by his sophomore or junior year with dreams of being of being a div 1 college QB one day. Overall, my son is a pretty skilled athlete and a pretty good 8th grade qb. He has worked with another trainer for the last 6-months. But during his first session with Coach Green: Coach quickly identified 5 different issues with my son’s throwing mechanics that will improve his velocity, distance, and accuracy and then they began the process of cleaning those issues up; they also ran through a lot on game applicable footwork and pocket movement drills that were really good. Pretty amazing for just the first work out!

I can’t recommend Coach LaMonta Green enough.

If you want your son to really learn how to play QB, then contact Coach Green!

Coach Green went from the transition from player to coach has been seamless. His playing experience gives him a solid foundation in quarterback mechanics and game strategy. Despite his rookie status in coaching, he brings a wealth of on-field knowledge that enhances our team's coaching staff.
