Olympic Hopeful AJ J. San Diego CA, 100 yd Sprint: Initial time 10.78, final time 10.17 after 12 weeks.
I've coached track and field athletes from youth to Olympic hopefuls in all sprinting, jumping and throwing events. My specialties are 100 yd, 200 yd, Javelin, shot put, long jump, triple jump. I have also coached many high level athletes in the strength and conditioning aspects of all track and field events.

I've created the Constant Motion Athletics system for the long term development of athletes of all ages. Focusing on the primary athletic movements of running, jumping and throwing mechanics, I can promise incredible improvements to every athlete I coach. The combination of video and strength/mobility assessment that I've developed along with my knowledge of strength and conditioning and plyometrics ensures that we will see the biggest improvements for everyone I have the privilege of coaching.

I competed in track and field through high school, competing in the 800, mile, javelin, shot put, and triple jump. Since college, I've studied the human body and how to maximize power development and force production in athletes to improve speed, and minimize injuries. My philosophy is that an athlete's talent is inconsequential if they have a high incidence of injuries.

Every session starts with an assessment of the athlete's current condition. Discussing their day (mental), inquiring about new injuries or pain points (physical) and a video analysis to identify changes from our last session (physical).
This assessment allows me to determine the course of action for each session. There is always a pre-planned objective for each session, but that is always contingent on the current condition of the athlete at the time the session begins.
We then move on to a warm up and movement preparation with that session's goals in mind.
We continue with loaded movement training to work on the mobility improvements that we desire in order to improve performance.
Technique and form drills to master necessary and dysfunctional movements. By creating movement patterns that happen automatically, we can focus on intensity and effort when it comes to competition day.
Finishing with a recap of what we accomplished and assigning homework ends the session.
