I have been a Strength & Conditioning Coach for over 15 years. I am certified in these areas: Strength & Conditioning Coach (I.S.S.A.), Titleist Performance Coach, Renegade Master Trainer, Warrior Diet CFT Trainer, Indo Board Master Trainer, and more.
Some of my accomplishments include being All-County shot put and discus, two time world powerlifting champion and five time national powerlifting champion.
I owned my own personal training studio for 17 years. I worked as the head strength and conditioning coach for Nyack HS football for 13 years. We won two state championships and five sections during that time. I also worked with the girl's lacrosse team and consulted for the phys. ed. department for the Nyack school district.

I am the author of 17 sport-specific training manuals. Currently I am also the strength and conditioning coach for Asylum Fight Gym in Ramsey, NJ.
In training athletes, I make sure that they see the importance of training and how each movement we do in the gym or on the field relates directly to movements they perform in their sport. I focus training on movement, not muscular development. All athletes learn proper form in the weight room, and when practicing running and agility drills, and postural alignment. As a strength and conditioning coach it is my job to build the complete athlete, addressing their speed, strength and agility.

I began training with Jim when I was 15 and entered the ninth grade. Back then I was 170 lbs., my bench was 135 lbs., and I couldn't squat more than 250 lbs. By the fall of my senior year my weight was up to 245 lbs. Now as I prepare to enter my freshman year in college, my bench max is up around 300 lbs., squat is 550 lbs. and power clean in around 270 lbs.
