More About Coach Jill

Have 12+ years experience coaching youth as well as adults. I have and currently coach youth, starting at age 10 to adults playing collegiate athletics and semi-professional. As a trainer and coach, I work at FAST Personal Training studio in Howard County, MD and also train at various schools throughout the Baltimore and Washington DC Metro areas. I typically work with ages 14-mid 30's. I am certified as a Sports Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and National Academy of Sports Medicine with a speciaas Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM, NASM-PES)

Athletic accomplishments are in volleyball- DI Temple University- 3 time defending Conference champs, 3 NCAA appearances, 1 Elite 8 appearance, conference athlete of the week, beach Budweiser Isle of Psalms tour runner up finalist 2vs2,. USA Track and Field 2012 Nationals-200m indoor silver medalist, 2012 100m silver medalist 200m bronze medalist. Regional Chanmpionships-100m, 200m gold medalist. 2013 indoor 60m 4th place, 200m silver medalist. 2014 outdoor New England Championships outdoor 100m,200m gold medalist. Numerous accolades during high school varsity lettering in basketball, volleyball, softball and league soccer play.

A typical session is based on whether or not the athlete is in in-season, or off season. In-season athletes can expect to focus on maintaining strength, injury prevention techniques, increasing speed, exerting power, and staying durable. Off season athletes generally focus on getting stronger, getting faster and more explosive, adjusting to a specific weight that is suitable for the athlete to perform his/her skill, lots of conditioning, and working skill set for said sport in preparation for the season.

I needed a strength and conditioning coach for my son (15 yrs) who plays soccer. Coach Jill is the “real deal”! She is disciplined and knowledgeable about the skills that work best for my son. My Son (16yo) has been training with Coach Jill twice a week since Mid-March. He is a HS Soccer player looking to improve acceleration and directional change. My son has already shown benefits from the training. We highly recommend Coach Jill and my son has plans to continue training with her.

Coach Jill evaluated his current capabilities and developed a program with varying exercises. The different training exercises keeps it interesting for him. She pushes him and he’s a sweaty mess afterward, but it’s just enough to continue improving. Coach Jill even took the time to develop a soccer related sprint drill. She a great Coach!
