More About Coach Jason

Coached middle school, high school, as well as college level track and field for several years. I am also able to cover every event. I am currently coaching the sprints and middle distance at paradise valley community college. I will also put together a weight program to help with immediate success. I do focus a lot on the correction and understanding of form running in my personal beliefs you are only as fast or good as your technique allows you

Growing up I was a high school state and national champion in Ohio at 200 meters. In college I was a national champion at 400 meters as well as 4x800 meter relay. All American in multiple events, as well as competing on the junior world team and setting a world record in the 4x4 @ 3:01.09

When training with me, not only do I push you to find out what limitations you have, I train you to realize there are no limitations. Plan on understanding your event a lot better than when you began working with me. I feel that is a vital part of performing better

Top of the notch very professional very easy to work with 100% recommended the best by far!

In my short time while working with coach Jason he has critiqued my running mechanics and his coaching tips has helped me improve my 40 yard dash time by over a tenth of a second in just a few sessions. Looking forward to seeing more improvements in our next sessions

Jason was great. Provided a lot of help and was easy to book with.

Great first session. Will book more soon!

Coach Jason helped me improve my form and running style so I can explode out of the start on my first visit, I am looking foward at getting faster with his help.

Coach Craig is an amazing coach! My daughter Gianna had the pleasure of being coached by him for only two short seasons. However, in those two seasons Coach Craig pushed Gianna to become one helluva an athlete! With his training and knowledge he helped Gianna earn the school record in the indoor 60 meter dash, outdoor 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and 4x100 meter relay. Not only did he coach Gianna on her sprinting technique, but long jump as well. Gianna has earned many titles with the help of Coach Craig, some of those include, GWOC champion, district champion, regional champion and state champion. Unfortunately, her last year got cut short due to a hamstring injury, but I have no doubt if she was able, he would have made sure she went out her senior year with a bang… I am so glad my daughter had the opportunity to be coached by someone so dedicated and knowledgeable of the sport and really cares about his athletes both on and off the track!
Coach Craig is not only a great coach but he is a great role model/friend someone you can really depend on. he came into my my high school Career taking me from not being able to qualify for state to competing against the best in the nation in the span of 2 years. I’m talking about 11.5 in the 100 to 10.57 and running mid 23s to 21 lows in the 200 and 52s to 46s in the 400. Not only did my times change He also changed my perspective of the sport making me fall in love with the grind and the chance to improve myself everyday not only as an athlete but as a person as well.
Joining the track team changed my life in many ways, all starting with one man that shared a common goal with me; which was to be successful in this life. Jason Craig came into my life as a coach when I was in middle school and hasn't left my side since. Being coached by someone great also. Jason Craig had heart and that compassion for track that pushed me to be better than average. Taking all that I've learned in middle school from coach Craig, into my high school and my college career has only brought me blessings. I owe all my accomplishments, from breaking records to being two time national champion to this hard working coach! If you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe then you'll be successful; and ultimately, that is what coach Craig preached and that's what took me far. Being coached by someone so prestigious, rubbed off on me. Coach Craig taught me mechanics, techniques and how to use my speed, and each and every race, at each and every track meet. All from staying I worked day and night to follow in his footsteps nearly two hours after practice, to practicing on weekends and joining his speed camp during the summer; the hard work never stopped.
I can honestly say that you have been the best coach I have ever had. You made me a better athlete and a better person. My times and block Starr have imp roved immensely due to your training. I always wanted to come to practice, even when I knew it would be a tough day. Now going into nursing school, I wil l use the same motivation you gave me to push through and succeed. :)
Hello, my name is Andre cokes. I met Jason Craig over 10 years ago during summer track as teammates. Then Jason became my middle school and high school coach where I attended. During middle school he took me and my teammates to a different level for middle school kid's, getting us physically and mentally ready for high school. He also took me to a middle school state championship, which we won 2 out of 3 races we were in. During my high school career, Craig helped me with a lot of different things. Helped me train for the 800, 400, 4x4 , 4x8 and the 300 hurdles. Each race you have to run it different and coach Craig help me develop my confidence and fixed what was wrong, and showed me what was right for that race or whatever event I was doing. He's a great trainer / coach
I was very undisciplined in high school, never patient or took the time for things to work themselves out. Im originally from Jamaican and i ran under Jason Criag when i came to the states and also trained with him. The one thing i admired about Craig was his tenacity, if you were someone who wanted to work hard he was much obliged to help you. Craig had the most aggressive and powerful start ive ever seen in high school out the blocks, seeing that i would practice my starts, drive and aggressiveness out the block. I'm forever appreciative for your help taking a 10.8 100m sprinter to a 10.3 which transitioned to an undefeated outdoor hurdle season until junior nationals, that transitioned to the still current THE OHIO STATE indoor hurdle record(7.65) and world lead in 2014 and it all started from one block start. I will now follow my dream to pursue track and field on a professional level.
Jason Craig is the measuring stick on which I judge all my athletes on what it takes to be successful on the track. Jason is our school record holder in the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes, as well as a state champion in the 200 meter dash, beating Ted Ginn Jr. of Glenville. Jason was a student of the sport, and never missed a practice (was late once for senior pictures, and I yelled at him for it J) Jason could run any event, and do it at a high level. He understands each event, and makes everyone around him better. He’s is by far the best athlete I’ve ever coached in my 25 years. He was my assistant coach for 5 years, and helped every athlete, whether elite, average of beginner, and gave them each the same amount of attention. As an athlete, he was one of the best, but slowly, he’s becoming a better coach. For those that are able to cross paths with him, you will be happy with the results.
Coach Craig is one of the best coaches I have had. From day one we were taught about self discipline and how to train effectively. He taught me the value of hard work and the value of being in a leadership role on a team. Coach Craig always knows how to push a me to my limits in everything that I do. He was also willing to share any knowledge he had that could better me as an athlete even if he was not strictly my event coach. He has such a positive influence on my life whether it is on the track or in my everyday life that still effects me today.
Well I was mediocre in high school. I worked hard but I never saw any results. I just loved the sport so much I stuck with it. So I never really thought I'd be good, let alone great, until I was coached by you. You've given me confidence and have pushed me past my limits to show me what talents I truly have. I PRed in almost all of the meets this past season dropping my 400 time from a 59.9 to a 58.6, my 200 time from a 26.3 to a 25.8, and even having a couple 57 splits in the 4x4. And on top of that competed at nationals in the 600, an event I've never ran before, and got myself an 8th place and a school record in the process. You have showed me how much you truly care, and I've all around become a better athlete and a harder worker because of you so thanks coach.
Coach Jason Craig definitely challenged me everyday to get better. Throughout the season he pushed me to get physically and mentally stronger. As a 400m runner our practices were never easy however he motivated us to never give up and because of that we all reached new PR's. In the one season that I had with him as a coach I was able to drop 1.5 seconds off my 200 pr and close to 3 seconds off my 400m. Looking back at that season i realized that without him I would of never been able to compete on the college level.
You're one of the hardest working people I know. We always had fun, but we knew when it was time to get down to business. You taught me how to give it my all, toughen up, and do what needs to be done. You pushed me and the whole team to aim high and never settle. I looked up to you and your success. It made me want to be great. I partially credit my state championship to you. I went on to college to the University of Cincinnati to make the entire coaching staff proud and so that they would know their dedication to me as an individual was not wasted. I'm now a coach at Weisenborn and Wayne. It brings back so many memories of you and Fern as a coach. I utilize all the things you taught me as an athlete, person, and coach to give back to my kids to the best of my ability. So thank you Coach 😊
Coach Craig was a very helpful and knowledgeable coach. Pushed me to be my best everyday in practice. Coach Craig had/has the best interest in heart for me. Still a very active mentor in my endeavors on and off the track. After only 3 months of training with Coach Craig i dropped two seconds off my indoor 800 pb (1:54 to 1:52). I learned a lot about racing and training from Coach Craig and is one of the best Coach i have had the privilege of working with. Now competing for Ole Miss (1:47.47)
Amazing coach and person. Worked with me for 2 years in my sprint events when I was at a community college at paradise valley community college and has helped get me a scholarship to the University of Montana where I can continue my track career. Taught me everything about track from having good form to improving my times. Definitely recommend everyone to be coached by him. One of the greatest coaches that has coached me.
