More About Coach Jaquan
I’m a football coach and trainer with experience at both the high school and collegiate levels. My focus has been on athletic development, position-specific training, and preparing athletes for competitive play. I’ve led individual and group training sessions designed to enhance speed, strength, and football IQ. As a former Division I athlete, I bring firsthand knowledge of what it takes to perform at a high level. I’ve coached athletes at both the high school and collegiate levels, helping them develop the skills and discipline needed to compete and succeed on the field. My experience includes coaching within structured school programs as well as offering private, off-season, and combine-style training. I’ve worked with athletes primarily at the high school level, providing training and development sessions tailored to individual and team needs. My training programs are rooted in real experience, both from my time as a player and from coaching young athletes with collegiate aspirations.
I was a collegiate football player at Georgia Tech, where I competed at the NCAA Division I level. During my time there, I played in the ACC, one of the most competitive conferences in the country, facing top-tier programs and high-level talent on a weekly basis. While at Georgia Tech, I contributed both on special teams and defense, and earned recognition for my leadership, work ethic, and team-first mentality.
A client can expect a structured, high-energy, and purposeful training session tailored to their age, position, and goals. I prioritize technique, intensity, and progression—whether we’re developing fundamentals or sharpening elite skills. Every session is designed to build both athletic ability and football IQ. I focus on a combination of:
-Speed and agility training (lateral movement, acceleration, and change of direction)
-Position-specific drills (for example: linebacker footwork, DB transitions, or wide receiver route work)
-Explosive power and functional strength
-Conditioning and game-like reps
-Football fundamentals (stance, alignment, hand placement, tackling mechanics, coverage techniques)
