More About Coach Jacob
I started coaching football at Village Christian, where we went to the state title game and got runner up. Then made a drive up to Hickory high school, where we made it to the first round of the playoffs. I was fortunate to get one young man in college to play at Lenior Rhyne. Then drove back home to Fayetteville and joined the Jack Britt Bucs and its been a daily blessing.
I only played on the high school level but study the game all the way to the top. Did not have a losing record while playing and 3x conference champion.
First session I will look to see how the athlete moves and goes through reps of things. Then from there I work on things from zone blocking, step progression, pulling, pass sets, double teams and anything the OL would like to work. I will switch it up day to day. Some drills I do are 6-point punch, step progression, pulling, independent hand pass set, stunt work, stale mate etc.
