More About Coach Jabari
I’ve coached athletes from youth to junior college level, with a specialty in football technique, strength, and discipline. My experience includes over 6 years of professional football, including the NFL and CFL, as well as serving as a private coach and trainer since retiring from pro ball. I typically work with 4th–12th grade athletes, junior college players, and occasionally pros in the off-season. I tailor each session to fit an athlete’s goals, position, and current level.
I played Division I football at the University of Washington, where I was a 3-year starter, Team Captain, and 1st Team All-Pac-10 selection. I was drafted into the NFL by the Arizona Cardinals and went on to have a 6-year professional career, including time with the Cardinals, Texans, and in the CFL, where I became a Grey Cup Champion. My journey reflects both high-level competition and a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed on and off the field.
Each session is tailored to the athlete’s position, skill level, and goals. A typical workout starts with dynamic warm-ups and movement prep, followed by position-specific drills focused on technique, footwork, and reaction. For linemen, we emphasize hand placement, leverage, and pass rush or run-fit mechanics. We also incorporate strength, agility, and mobility work to develop complete athletes. Sessions end with feedback, mental focus cues, and homework to improve between trainings.
