More About Coach Fabiola

As a Harvard Division I track & field athlete and assistant coach, I have experience coaching athletes ranging from elementary school children to high school competitors. I served as an Assistant Coach at the Aspire Track Clinic, where I mentored more than 30 athletes, taught proper sprint mechanics and hurdle fundamentals, provided individualized feedback, and helped athletes build confidence both on and off the track. Beyond formal coaching, I have years of leadership experience as a Student Athlete Wellness Leader (SAWL) and Harvard Track & Field Social Chair, where I mentor teammates and foster a positive, supportive environment. My goal is to develop athletes who are technically sound, mentally resilient, and genuinely enjoy the sport. While I do not currently hold coaching certifications, my experience competing and training at one of the highest collegiate levels allows me to teach the same techniques used by elite athletes.

I competed as a Division I student-athlete for Harvard University’s Track & Field program, specializing in the hurdles and sprint events. Throughout my athletic career, I have earned numerous accomplishments, including being an Ivy League Conference Champion in the 60m hurdles, a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete, and a five-time Colorado State Champion in high school. I was also named an selected as one of only three Harvard athletes to represent the university at the NCAA NIL Summit. Competing at the highest collegiate level has taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of proper technique, lessons I hope to pass on to the next generation of athletes.

Every athlete is different, so each session begins with understanding your goals, current ability, and areas for improvement. We start with a dynamic warm-up and mobility routine before moving into technique-focused drills tailored to your event, whether that’s sprinting, hurdles, starts, acceleration, speed mechanics, or general athletic development. Throughout the session, I provide clear demonstrations, personalized feedback, and adjustments that athletes can immediately apply. I believe athletes learn best when they understand why they’re doing each drill, so I explain the purpose behind every exercise. Sessions conclude with a cool-down, a recap of key takeaways, and recommendations for continued improvement between lessons. My priority is creating an encouraging environment where athletes gain confidence while improving their performance.
