I've coached for 11 years, starting in 2013 as a High School Assistant Track Coach and advancing to Head Cross Country and Track and Field Coach. I've been instrumental in developing Track and Cross Country programs, guiding athletes from beginners to State-caliber competitors, with some moving on to NCAA Division I and II levels.
Certified by USATF, RRCA, and REVO2LUTION RUNNING as a Running Coach, and NASM as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), I train clients of all levels, from individuals to large groups. I specialize in customized strength plans and have led bootcamp and HIIT classes. I'm passionate about helping others achieve their goals and currently coach athletes in distances ranging from 5K to ultra marathons, including triathlons and specialized military and K9 officer training. Many of my athletes have achieved Boston Qualifying times and Personal Records with my guidance.
I competed in NCAA Division I Cross Country, Indoor, and Outdoor Track at the University of Central Florida for 4 years, contributing to UCF's first Conference USA Championship-winning team. My events included the 5K and 3,000-meter steeplechase. After college, I shifted to road racing and completed 12 marathons. In 2017, I won the RRCA Western Regional Championship and the Napa Valley Marathon. I qualified for the USA Olympic Trials Marathon in 2019 with a time of 2:41:54 (6:10/mile), competing in February 2020. I've also been the Orlando Track Shack Series Female Champion four times: 2014-15, 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23. Currently, I train for distances ranging from the 5K to the marathon while coaching athletes.
I like to start with a consultation, either in person or via FaceTime/Zoom, to understand each client's goals and how we can achieve them together while staying healthy. I consider all aspects of their history, including past injuries, experience, schedule, and training. Whether it's in-person, online training, or both, we'll work together. Training plans are uploaded weekly or bi-weekly on FinalSurge, where I track progress through smartwatches, FinalSurge, and Strava, and adjust as needed.
