More About Coach Doron

I am a youth football and USA Football-certified coach and have over 10 years of experience with head coaching and personal coaching. I have coached players ranging from 7 years old all the way through the collegiate level. I have worked as a coach at several kicking and punting camps in Florida and most recently coached two Pop-Warner (10-13 year olds) teams in East Boston. I specialize in kicking and punting but have experience with coaching quarterbacks, running backs, tight ends, and defensive back positions as well.

I was an all county Running Back in High School and then went on to start and letter for four years as a placekicker at the University at Albany (NY) earning a First Team All-American award as a senior. I then went on to play for the Rochester Brigade Arena2 football team in 2001 and had several tryouts for Arena 1 football teams. I later began coaching at kicking and punting camps with All American Kicking in Florida.

A typical session would begin with 10 minutes or warming up and stretching.

We would then work on basic terminology, strategy, techniques, body mechanics, and footwork.

I utilize the latest techniques and equipment for these drills. Next, we would move to full speed drills, including live contact (kicking, punting, throwing, catching, blocking).

This portion of the lesson may include video review to analyze body mechanics and technique.

My son started kicking for his high school team. We have had multiple sessions with coach Doron. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. Doron has spent a lot of time helping my son learn proper form and technique. My son has made great improvements and really enjoys his sessions with a Coach Doron. The sessions are never rushed. Doron always provides videos of the sessions as well as practice routines to use during the week to reinforce the lesson. Coach Doron is a true professional who really enjoys teaming.
