More About Coach Devin
I have over 15 years of coaching experience as a private quarterback coach to quarterbacks ranging from age 5 all the way to 25. I have also coached high school and college football teams as a Quarterbacks Coach, and been offered full time offensive coordinator positions in the past. I prefer to be a Quarterback Trainer because this is my passion, and I love transferring all of the knowledge II learned in my playing career to the future generations to come!
I was one of 2 quarterbacks selected 1st team all state in Illinois at Prospect High School.
Got a full ride to Western Illinois University
Transferred to College of Dupage where I became a top 3 quarterback in the nation, leading my team to it's first ever bowl game.
Got a full ride to University of North Texas where I was coached by Graham Harrell and Seth Littrell learning the Mike Leach Air Raid offense. Worked with Aaron Rodgers and other NFL QB's diirectly. Graduated with my degree in Kinesiology and a letter in football.
Start with stretching and warming up. I take players through my FBS level pre practice warm up routine for Quarterbacks, from Aaron Rodgers directly. (his best friend was my QB coach)
We then start with footwork and pocket drills.
Then we start easing into throwing at 10 yards, then 15, then 20, until we get to 50 yards.
Once the arm is warmed up we go into pocket drills and routes on air.
Then we go into progressions and working on everything from footwork, timing, throwing, accuracy, reads, etc.
At the end we do some fun off schedule drills to simulate real game experience. I have a lot of clients I've trained and retained for over 15 years because they love the sessions we do.
