More About Coach Dell

I have many trophies and awards from playing basketball from elementary all the way to Division II basketball. .Everywhere I played I have excelled and always been a team player. Injuries shorten my basketball career, however, I have spent the majority of my lifetime focusing on strength and conditioning and how to become a better athlete and to help others do the same.

I am currently preparing for my ACE Personal Training Certification. I have trained athletes for strength and conditioning from grade school through college. My training experience goes back at least 10 years, where I have trained middle school, junior high, and high school boys and girls (ages 7-21). I also have extensive training and coaching experience at my local YMCA.

Clients can expect to get better from me on stability, mobility, strength, and cardiovascular endurance. I place a strong emphasis on core work and balance. Every work out will consist of exercises in relation to the aforementioned above. Weight lifting also plays a big part in my program.

I feel like he brings the perfect balance of correction and that down to earth personality that he has. Flexible schedule and knows what he is doing.

In just 3 sessions for my son we can see improvement in his ball handling and overall performance. By the 3rd session he was already getting pushed further to do more and the training portion (pull-ups, lunges, etc.) has him back gaining size and strength. The biggest issue is figuring out how to fit sessions in with the busy school schedule now that school is back on but Coach is pretty flexible and has multiple locations (Midland, Saginaw and I think Freeland) he works at so it is working out. No doubt that if my son can keep up the schedule and practice through to the season starting he is going to be much better off.
