More About Coach Davon
I graduated from East Carolina University with an Exercise Science Degree, with a Minor in Child Development and Family Relations. I began furthering my CDFR Education in Grad School before pursuing my NFL Dreams. Throughout the years I've spent countless days leading the Kid's Camps, Prospect Camps and many fan oriented events. After retirement, I've focused on individualized training sessions to maximize the amount of resources and time I can give each athlete pursuing their dreams.
I went to Kings Fork High School in Suffolk, VA. I was a credentialed athlete, receiving over 20 college offers between Football and Track & Field. I accepted a full athletic scholarship from East Carolina University in 2013.
After starting as a 17 year old freshman, I went on to becoming the 8th leading receiver in ECU history. Though I sustained two major injuries during my college career, I was blessed enough to receive multiple All-Conference Awards and made it to the Belitnikoff watchlist in 2017.
After college, I trained at IMG Academy prior to attending the NFL combine. I was brought in as an UDFA to the Kansas City Cheifs, spending two seasons with the team. After injury, I went on to play in the XFL/UFL with the St.Louis Battlehawks. I ended my career in CFL with the Ottawa Redblacks. I retired to focus on my health and giving back to the Game that shaped most of my early life experiences.
A typical session would start with warm-up that emphasizes form, flexibility, dynamic movement, and kinetic chain mobility. My workouts consist of positional work, strength & conditioning, injury prevention. I'll always end workouts with a cooldown and personal tape study of our session. I understand the need for individual attention and pride myself on focusing the personal goals of every athlete I work with.
