More About Coach David

I started coaching for my high school as a volunteer assistant. I decided to get more involved with coaching after this. I really enjoyed working with the high school students and wanted to do more. In Texas I was a part of a program called Marathon High, My teammates and I trained high schoolers to run a marathon. The process took about 6-7 months. These kids had very little running experience when they started. After time they got into shape and completed the Marathon. It was so gratifying to see. I've had multiple coaching positions at various high schools. In 2017 I was the head track coach for Reardan High school. Multiple athletes made it to State. In 2015 I was also the head cross country coach for Patrick Henry High school. In the fall of 2016 I was the assistant cross country coach at Maranatha high. school. I've been coaching privately for the past two years. I'm very passionate about what I do, Every plan that I give has a purpose. I really care about my clients and achieving their goals.

I think it's important to meet your client for coffee or somewhere where we can talk about training and goals. I like to hear everyone's story and what their goals are. After listening to my client and getting all the details down I come up with a plan to successfully move them forward with physical and mental training. If your an individual that is brand new to running I will do something light on are first session and gradually increase the workload as we go. If your a fast high school athlete I will see where you are in your training with base,interval work and see what workouts are best for you right now.

Dave is really outstanding. He coached me for a half dozen sessions as I trained for my third marathon. He's very responsive, personable and flexible. And he really knows his stuff. After I explained my background and goals to him, he was able to teach me a lot of training techniques and always made the workouts new, interesting and rewarding. Now that third marathon is behind me and with Dave's help I ran it stronger, faster, and with a much easier recovery. You will not go wrong working with Dave on whatever your running goals might be.

Coach David was great! My daughter just had her first session with him and she loved it! He's very knowledgeable about track and field, and gave my daughter some great advice and technique. We'll definitely book our next session soon.
