More About Coach David
I have experience working with AAU teams through the Greensboro Spartains and the Hoop Phenom tournaments. I've worked out with my coach Josh Howard during the season and I've learned in playing under him and learning what he had to teach about the game. I've trained some of my former teammates and they've gotten better going into the next season. I am currently the assistant coach and skill development coach for Atlantic Shores Christian School girls varsity basketball team.
I've played basketball at Johnston Community College, Mid-Atlantic Christian University and Piedmont International University. I've broken the three point record in a game at Johnston Community College. (8). I've made to the championshp game in our national tournament at Mid-Atlantic Christian university. I've also played in Spain and Mexico after I graduated college in 2017. Lastly, in 2018 I tried out for the 76ers G League team (Delaware Bluecoats) and made it to the final workout.
It depends on the players needs. Whatever they want to improve on, we will get the reps in and we will also work on the technique. We will do drills based on the needs of the player. I will be checking for footwork and proper technique. We will move at a pace that is comfortable for the player.
