More About Coach Daisuke
Experience:
- About a year and counting of training athletes of difference levels, especially in the high school and collegiate level. In the Summer of 2024, I have coached a high school volleyball player in increasing her vertical jump height, muscular strength cardiovascular endurance. And ultimately, she has made her high school's junior varsity (JV) volleyball team.
Where I Have Coached:
- Primarily in the fitness centers/gyms I train at.
Education & Certifications:
- I received my bachelor's of science (B.S) in kinesiology in May 2023 at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Currently, I am pursuing my master's of science (M.S) in kinesiology. Additionally, I have a coaching certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and plan on getting my National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA CSCS) certificate.
I did several sports (e.g., swimming, track/sprints, and football) in my life. In September 2024, I claimed the Powerlifting United (PLU) federation Virginia deadlift state record (225 kg./496.04 lbs.) for the Junior (ages 20-23), 75 kg. division.
Sessions with me typically will be an hour. 10 minutes will be spent warming up, and debriefing the day's training plan. 50 minutes will be spent training.
