More About Coach Connor

GHSA Certified Coach. Currently coach Quarterbacks at Providence Christian Academy on the varsity team. Also have experience with private lessons with players anywhere from youth to college athletes.

Played QB in high school and left PCA in Lilburn, GA as the all time leader in passing yards, rushing yards, passing & rushing TDs. Chose to try to walk on at UGA instead of accepting opportunities to play at Shorter College, Mercer University, Point University, and the University of Rhode Island. Injured my shoulder during workouts in January 2014 thus ending my football career.

Sessions will cater to an athletes specific needs, requests, and abilities. For example, a 10 year old QB session will focus a lot on technique (making sure you have a good base for your throws, elbow above the shoulder, etc...) where as a high school QB will have more advanced drills (moving in the pocket, throwing on the run, route timing etc...). There is a lot that mentally goes into playing the position as well, something that is more difficult to train. I will address this by instilling values of leadership and confidence in each athlete.

Wide receivers are also an area I can coach. Again, each athlete will receive a tailored session to his abilities, experience and desired goals. I believe that the most important part of being a good wide receiver (outside of being able to catch the ball) is route running. Any WR I coach will run very precise routes, with great footwork, proper technique off the line (dealing with getting jammed, releases).
