Performance Coach with 6+ years coaching youth, high school, and adult road runners and track/field athletes specializing in mid to long distance (Mile to Marathon). ACE Certified Personal Trainer, USA Track and Field Level 1 Coach, and NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist who works with athletes to improve form, fitness, and strength to optimize their running form and performance.

I've also worked as a assistant High School Cross Country and Track coach for 4 years focusing on mid to long distance (800m-2 mile).

I focus on meeting the needs of my clients by evaluating their strengths and weaknesses; starting with a movement, strength, and running analysis as well as understanding their goals so we can close the gap between them. We build on this through flexibility and mobility exercises to increase their movement potential, strength work on key weak links specific to the runner, and strength training using a number of tools (Body Weight, Dumbbells, Barbells, and Kettlebells). We use specific drills and power exercises to translate all of this new earned mobility and strength into your running performance.

I (28 woman) worked with Coach Cody to get back into running shape after 2 years of no cardiovascular activity. He created a realistic running program for me to pace myself and not push myself to hard to fast. He worked with me once a week to improve my running form, build strength, and increase speed.
