More About Coach Chris

Eager to make your athlete better and take their game to the next level. I love the game of football and love to teach the game the right way! I have worked to develop kids of all age groups ranging from elementary school aged kids to college kids. After my playing career was over, I took a job at Northern Arizona University, coaching running backs. I spent two years there before returning to Texas. I have worked with all age groups, but like to focus on 7th grade to 12th grade. I currently work with athletes in I9, AAYFL, SCFL, junior high, high school, college, Pop Warner football and semi-pro football leagues. My focus is to help players take their game to the next level so that they one day can compete on the collegiate and professional level.

All-state High School QB, Four year letterman at Texas A&M. While at Texas A&M, we won a Big XII South Title and an outright Big XII Title. I was able to break the record for the longest play from scrimmage in Texas A&M history. (96 yards) After my time at Texas A&M, I was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers and played 4 seasons in the NFL.

My first objective is to get to know the skill set and knowledge of the players that I work with. Once that is established I will put together a detailed plan and progression to help enhance the respective player's skills. Everything will begin with building a solid foundation based on core fundamentals and then move on to the more advance skills as I deem necessary. The end result will be a fundamentally sound player who is equipped with everything they need to reach their FULL potential.

Coach Chris was Fantastic! He was a great teacher and really gave my son confidence. He was great! I will definately book again.

Coach Taylor taught our college graduate (life-long athlete) things he did not know in preparation for a semi-pro-team tryout. Our son feels, Coach Taylor is genuinely committed to excellence and success. Our athlete is anxious to learn more in future sessions and highly recommends Coach Taylor.

Coach Christopher is a great coach! He has a unique ability to immediately connect with the athlete he’s training and communicate his vast knowledge of route running and techniques. We look forward to working with him again and would recommend Coach Christopher to anyone.

He was amazing ! He worked great with my son and gave him skills that he needed to succeed. My son learned a lot and improved on his speed and footwork for football . He also improved as a receiver and learning to catch the ball with his hands and not body . He also taught him mentally as well on how he thinks and where his focus should be also to have fun while doing it . We appreciate your time and working with us on scheduling. We will be using you more in the future . Thank you very much .

Coach T is great! Professional and holds an athlete to a high standard! We’re looking forward to positive and productive relationship!

Former Texas A&M Aggie and Tennessee Titan Chris Taylor is an outstanding coach for up and coming football players. Starting with the first workout, my son received excellent skills and technique training that he had never experienced before. Coach Taylor is an expert on footwork, hands, receiving techniques, route-running and many other aspects of the game. He knows the nuances from experience. We have been impressed and seen great improvement after only a few sessions. We plan to book many more sessions.

Coach Taylor has been great working with my son. He is quick to respond, reliable, and enthusiastic. We have had 2 sessions with him and my son can't wait for the next one.

Coach Christopher is awesome! He took time to listen to my son, speak with us regarding feedback received from his high school coach, then develop a custom program specific to his needs. His game performance noticeably improved after one lesson! You can tell Coach Christopher has a passion for football and wants to share his knowledge to develop the next round of high school and college athletes.

Coach Christopher provided excellent footwork drills and feedback for my 16 yr old son. In just the first workout yesterday we witnessed an immediate improvement in son's quickness and ability to get off the line. We will be scheduling another workout very soon.

Coach Christopher offered my son excellent advice, assessed his skills and provided much needed one-on-one instruction. He is patient and has a great personality that works well with young athletes. Couldn't be happier.

Every student athlete dreams of making it to the next level. Only thing is, if you happen to play for a small, less well known high school with a descent athletic program that never makes the playoff, no matter how good you are, often times you fall below the radar. Such was the case for my son, Larry Rose III, 2011 3A Offensive player of the year. Larry was an outstanding athlete who continued to put up outrageous numbers throughout his high school years but it was not until we worked with Mr. Taylor and NSR, that we began feeling like the hard work was going to pay off. He had fallen below the radar, but at least he was on the radar and per Mr. Chris Taylor, that was more than enough to work with. The services he offered allowed Larry to focus of playing, allowed me as his mother to not stress or wonder if he was being noticed and in the end, was well worth the investment. Mr. Taylor gave us hope. With in a few weeks, my son went from not receiving much college interest to an average of 2-3 colleges a week communicating, letting him know they were interested in him. Mr. Taylor then went above and beyond to say in constant communication with us and Larry providing added support and words of wisdom and encouragement. A bond was forged and the Rose family will be forever grateful. If not for Mr. Taylor, I don't know if our D1 dream would have come true. I would encourage all parent of student athletes to not sleep on individual instruction. I have no regrets having invested in my children, I only wish I would have been aware of them when my daughter was in school. Just maybe things would have been a little different for her.
