More About Coach Carena
Since 2023, I’ve trained athletes ages 5–24 in speed, agility, strength & plyometrics across many sports. Ran 2 Pennsylvania businesses—Xtreme Sports Performance & 4:13 Performance and Fitness. I have a BS in Kinesiology (Applied Exercise and Health), Minor in Special Education, and Personal Training Certification.
High School: Track and Field sprinter (100m, 200m, 4x100m relay) and pole vaulter, state qualifier all 4 years in multiple events, state champion in 2017 in the pole vault. 
College (Penn State University): 2x Big Ten conference scorer, NCAA Qualifier, team captain.
Speed & Agility: Sessions start with dynamic stretching and mobility, walking drills, skips, ladders/mini hurdles, and accelerations (agility or power starts), then apply the skills focused on in workouts, ending with a cooldown and static stretching.
Strength Training: Begin with dynamic warmups, activation, and power prep. Workouts use A/B/C block structure—A: total body power, B: strength, C: balance/power—finishing with core and stretching.
